Nostradamus MABUS?
Sponsor Messages Quote:According to some, the death of one known as "Mabus" will herald some cataclysmic event. The actual mention of Mabus is restricted to C2, Q62 where we see Mabus described: But why such speculation? It is clear who Mabus is! Ray Mabus Secretary of the Navy ![]() Defense.gov Quote:He was appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Clinton Administration in 1994. During his tenure as Ambassador, a crisis with Iraq was successfully averted and Saudi Arabia officially abandoned the boycott of United States businesses that trade with Israel. He has been awarded ... the King Abdul Aziz Award from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Being in charge of the Navy, doesn't that put him in charge of our submarines that can launch our nuclear missiles as well? I can only interpret the quatrain to mean, since Mabus is the head of the US Navy, to indicate, that he will die in battle somehow, perhaps a strike on the military base he's in. The US, characteristically will then seek revenge upon those who did it, and will strike back, routing those responsible, and of course, it will cause a huge exodus or "rout" of people and animals, fleeing from the onslaught of the retaliation. But that won't be enough, and we will strike back with more powerful weapons still, ones which cause thirst and hunger, "when the comet runs" - a glowing aerial firestorm that could only be a nuclear detonation. RE: Nostradamus MABUS?
I can't say that I fully believe your theory. Does he have the name? Yes. Does he have the seat of power? Yes. Does he have the influence? I don't think so. If you look back to Nostradamus' previous Antichrists (Napoleon and Hitler), they weren't mere subordinates to a greater power; they were at the top of the line and were so influential they created radical devotion from their followers. As only a secretary of the navy, I don't think he has that much influence. If he comes to power and possibly is elected at least vice president, then I may very well believe it.
In looking for this "final" Antichrist, I tend to look at other doomsday predictions and compare them to find similarities. Something I found was how biblical prophesy and the predictions of Isaac Newton corresponded. Revelations tells of how the Antichrist will come from the desert riding a white horse. The desert is most likely the Middle East; it's not only biblical related, but heavily influenced by strife and war. As for the white horse, the UN has all there vehicles in white. Then when we look at Newton's predictions, he has two signs that the end is nigh: the return of the Jews to Israel, and the third rebuilding of the Temple of Solomon. He's predicted one, and looking at the tenuous situation with Israel and Palestine (as well as Islam), the building of the temple would mean the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and would certainly spark the endtime as we know it. Therefore I tend to look to the Middle East for the Antichrist, but that's just me. Either way, interesting theory. I think I'll keep an eye on it for sure. |

RE: Nostradamus MABUS?
Okay, you caught me.
I was watching the Daily Show and saw this guy's name and thought it was hilarious, so I looked him up and threw this together. It IS funny to me, and to be fair, he's not just "a Navy secretary", he is THE Secretary of the Navy, as in, the one in charge of the Navy and Marines. But I'm not personally much of a believer in prophecy, at least not to the point where I think it is necessarily vital - I think it may have some merit, possibly, in some way, or be accurate in some ways, but Nostradamus? Ehhh.... but I thought I'd share for those of you that are interested. Ouija Use 1992-1996: 1.5 sess./day @45 min./sess.
