What is it?
Sponsor Messages Recently, I've been hearing something strange, about a month ago, I was laying down in my room while my sister was asleep, it was around 9-10 pm, i heard something land outside my window, it sound like a pair of huge wings (angel wings?), like something you see in the movies. Two nights ago, i woke up in the early hours of the morning, my dog was outside my window and i could hear him and the other dogs from the neighborhood bark. I've never heard him bark like that before, it was like he was in a fight, he was growling at the top of his lungs. And i heard another sound, I couldnt make out what it was, like a screeching, scratching, screaming, sound, it sounded really weird. Nobody in my house was awake at this time and if they were, they wouldnt be able to go outside because we had the alarm on. 3 Days before this incident, I've been having nightmares of possessed people, for 3 consecutive days. I started sleeping with a rosary under my pillow and the nightmares stopped. Anyone knows what it could be? I also have a story i posted on true ghost tales.com http://www.trueghosttales.com/paranormal...ific-past/ Ignorance is Bliss but Knowledge is Power |

RE: What is it?
Well, to be honest, the barking and screaming sounds could very well be that Mr. Kitty decided to play with the dogs! It does sound like a mix of cat and dog sounds from the way you describe it.
Angels having wings began during the reign of Constantine when he converted to Christianity. That's when those images were created...never once in the Bible does it speak of angels having wings. Rather, they appear human. If I were to wager a guess, it sounds like you may have had an owl or something near your window and may have heard that. I read your story on TGT...and yes, it does sound like you have had a lot of strange experiences. I do know that anything negative feeds on fear, so my suggestion would be to surround yourself with as much positive as possible. It may not make all of these images go away for you...but it can take the focus off of them. You are a young and obviously intelligent woman...don't let fear rule you! Plan your life and your future around what is positive, because from reading your story on TGT, it sounds like you have been afraid for a long time. RE: What is it?
As for the huge wings, SG is right, sounds like an owl. I say owl because you described the wings as sounding large, and the wingspan of an owl is indeed large. It's good you didn't look out your window or you would have scared yourself worse, because, IMO, owls have weird looking eyes. Kind of ...piercing ... and large. They freak me out for some reason! |

RE: What is it?
Sounds like some good ideas here as to what may be going on. The screaching could have even been the owl too,...and yes they have a huge wingspan. They are also very territorial, much like your dog who may be in a yelling match with an owl who decided your yard is a nice place to call home. An owl's vocal abilities also reach far beyond the occasional "WHO" and can even sound like a woman screaming in the woods if they are riled up.

Lol, no, it wasnt any type of animal, im sure of it, i area i live in is very... whats the word... closed?
there are about 4 dogs in total near my home and i havent seen a cat in the 1 and a half years that i've been living here so i doubt it. owl? maybe, but where did it come from, no woods near my home, and the distance between my home and my neighbours isnt really far, probably 2m i think. it could have been an animal, i should have gotten up and checked but im too afraid lol Ignorance is Bliss but Knowledge is Power |

RE: What is it?
Where could an owl have come from? They might look fat and clumsy but they are actually birds which fly quite bouyantly. RE: What is it?
I am not getting in the first part.I think also that a bird might came from anywhere..but what interests me the most are your dreams that were repeated for a few days. This was a warning to change and protect you from bad things. And you did and this is good now.Now you calm down and think positive. You made a protection.
Was that the only once that you experienced this wings, starching and everything else? |

RE: What is it?
No, often knocks on my window in the early hours of the morning, people whispering in my ear...
And I dont understand any of it because our house was recently built and no one has lived in it before us, our house is built next to a parish Ignorance is Bliss but Knowledge is Power |
