Haunteds shadow cat
"It's kind of hard to explain, but for example, I have one here now that is just about 10 inches or so tall, I don't know how to explain it, but I know without a doubt it's a cat like creature. I guess you just sense what they are."

I do know what your getting at, i had to discern a spirits sexuality by just feeling alone.

Could you tell me more about this cat like creature, the way you describe it it sounds like this is a common occurence. Are these shadow creatures you see, blurry? It sounds like you define what you see by feeling?

Are the shadow people you see localised in one room for example, or are they wherever you go?

Pacal,

sorry, but not sure what you mean here? Have you posted this in your own thread and meant to post it in another? Huh

Anyway, it doesn't matter so much if we know what you mean?

RE: Haunteds shadow cat
The cat shadow that's here seems to stay in the living room and mostly around the couch. I've seen it walk across the back of the couch, jump up on the couch and walk along the front of the couch on the floor. And, yes it is very common here at least, I've seen it many times since we moved in here. I have a friend that has even seen it several times when she'd been here.

No, I don't mean that you discern a spirits sexuality by feeling alone. I just meant that almost every time I've seen something, I've some how sensed whether it was male or female. Sometimes the shape or even the way one moves will suggest a feminine or masculine entity.

I do sometimes define stuff by my feelings. For example, the cat shadow, I know it's a cat like creature because of the way it moves, it's more graceful and proud when it moves than a dog would be. The very first time I ever saw this particular one, my first thought was cat!

Somehow, I just usually get a sense of these things and know what they are and often what gender they are. For instance, I have one tall, thin one that just keeps repeating the same steps over and over and I sense it is a male entity. It looks like a typical shadow creature, but as I've researched and learned more about the supernatural, this creature could merely be a residual haunting.

However, I in no way believe that all supernatural things have a gender, some things I've seen, I just simply classify as evil or good and not male or female! And, yes there are some spirits, ghosts or what ever you wish to call them that are very good. I've lived with several and have actually missed them once they were no longer with me.

As far as how they look, most of the shadow creatures I've seen have just looked like a persons shadow. The same way your shadow on a wall looks if you were standing between a wall and a light. I have been able to see objects behind the shadows, but the objects are darkened by them.

Now for where they go, some I've seen through the years seem to either be confined to one area or for some particular reason, just seem to prefer to stay in one area. Others I've seen have moved around the entire house where ever they pleased to go.

I have seen them in all shapes and sizes. In one place I've lived we all saw them, but what was really strange there was that the shadow creature would be very close to the same size as the person who saw it. My boyfriend at the time was 6'3" and when he saw them they were as tall as him. My youngest son was 5 and when he saw them they were the same height as him. And, when I saw them they were my height. That's the only place where I've had shadow creatures that appeared to be the same size of the person seeing them, every other time they've just always been various sizes.

I have even seen them that were the size of quarters, golf balls and oranges. I've seen these dart across the walls and have many times thought a big bug or spider was crawling across the wall, but it wasn't it was a shadow.

RE: Haunteds shadow cat
So are you saying that it is not you who is in tune to them? But they are in tune with you? Perhaps they are attracted to you?

I can only guess these creatures can change their shape? It sounds like intelligent interaction?

That does sound like a loop in time.

I guess you are quite sensitive to Paranormal stuff, Haunted?

OK, I did't know what you meant did I? Big Grin sorry about that.

I'm always scanning things for quickness and I really must stop doing this I think.

RE: Haunteds shadow cat
As for changing their appearance, that was my thoughts on them appearing the size of the person that saw them. Because, unless there just happened to be one the same size as each of us, then they had to be able to change their appearance.

Yes, actually I am very sensitive to the supernatural most of the time, sometimes more so than I'd like to be!

Me and my mother was at this gigantic old plantation down in North Carolina, it had been turned into a 3 story antique shop. The 2 bottom floors were fine, but the top floor, what was probably an attic at one time, was a real hoot!

One section had all these old steamer trunks lined up in rows, there was probably about 10 or 12 of them, can't remember exactly. But, we'd opened a bunch of them just looking at the insides and what good shape they still seemed to be in.

I'd opened several of them myself, but then I opened one and literally saw a body all folded up inside it. It only lasted about 5 seconds and it was gone, but it was there! I was so shocked and it happened so fast that I couldn't even tell if it was a man or a woman.

Then there was this one corner, the whole time we were up there, there was something in that corner watching us. I just went ahead and looked, the corner was the farthest section from the stairs. I preceded on down the middle of the room looking at all the beautiful antiques and finally made it near the corner.

I went over to the corner and it was cold, you could tell a big drop in temperature from the rest of the room. I have no idea what this corner was, but there was a little walk in place. Sort of like a little short hallway that went no where and it was about maybe 3 foot wide.

On one side, about as high as my shoulders, there was this wood plank on the wall and at each end of the plank there was these big metal eye hooks. You know, the kind that has a circle on one end and screws into wood. Except these were huge, large enough for chains and shackles is what I thought.

After I walked out of the corner, something followed me about halfway across the end of the room, but as we turned to go down toward where the steamer trunks were, it didn't follow.

SO that was like a vision of a dead body you saw?
Have you seen bodies since?

RE: Haunteds shadow cat
Well, ironically I've always been more a dog person, recently (Since June 14th, my birthday) I've seen a, how would you say it... Shadow creature, that takes the form of a dog. I'm not well versed in breeds, so I'll just leave it at a big, short haired dog, very tall and muscular. He follows me when I go to town, and when I walk over to a friends... What's weird is the only building he follows me into is my own home. Most of the time, like right now. I can see him in plain sight, It's like he's solid, but at the same time, wispy. You can definitely tell he's not alive. He looks like he died maybe from, a fight with another dog? He has scars on his sides and face that have no hair, like little tooth lines. It appears as though he died from his neck being torn. Although it's just a big scar, as if he was healed. Even when we drive to the store or something, I can look out the side or back of the car, and going almost 60 mph he can keep up, no sweat. He never seems wore out, I suppose because it takes no effort for him to do things in this plain. But when I go into another building, he waits at the door, I tried to lose him by going out a different exit, from Fred Meyer, and he was in the exact same pose that I left him at the other side of the store, waiting when I come out of the store, he immediately cocks his head and gets back up on all fours.

I don't think he means any harm, because he hasn't tried to hurt me in any way, I honestly think he was sent to protect me, because when I sleep, he's at the foot of my bed on the floor. The "Hat man" will also keep his distance from me, although he still manifests frequently. He still stares directly at me, but my dog, stares directly at him, and it seems as though he's the reason the "Hat man" has no power over me, such as giving me memories of a different time, and person.

I named him Cerberus, it seemed fitting. I don't sense any "Evil" ( I don't like using that term but it's the only one that came to mind ) in the dog, but it's definitely a demonic presence.

But as I said, he follows me everywhere, whether it's driving to the store or walking to a friends house... Does anyone else have a "Demonic" companion?

RE: Haunteds shadow cat
I'm not exactly sure if I would use the word "demonic". My opinion is anything demonic does not ever have the intent to help. But I would think that it is a familiar, or spirit animal, that has a purpose. But if you really sense something demonic, I would exercise caution in thinking it is there to help you.

Again, it is my opinion. And it has me wanting to know a little more about it.
