A tap on the shoulder...

Sponsor Messages
Every now and again, I will feel a tap on my shoulder, leg (if I am seated), or my back (if I am bent over). It doesn't frighten me, and I don't see or hear anything. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it feels distinctively like a person tapping me three times with their finger.

My cat died 6 months ago, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but it began shortly after. the only thing that's confusing is a cat has paws, and this distinctively feels like a finger.

I do live near power lines, but everything else in my environment is as good as it can be.

Anybody else ever experience this?

I have had a muscles contract that feels like a tap and also certain clothing can shift and feel like you were touched. During an investigation I felt a touch at the back of my neck but it was just a hanging wire.

When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence.

Yeah I've had a tap on the shoulder. Had someone touch my back. When sleeping, had someone touch my leg, pull the covers off of me & even heard someone call my name when nobody was there no one in my home with me.

RE: A tap on the shoulder...
I agree with UNR that it may possibly be contracting muscles, that happens to me a lot, and if you're caught up in something it can really catch you off guard. Also, not downplaying your experience by any means, but humans naturally try to find connections/patterns when something out of the ordinary happens, so it may be something easily explainable, but our minds get a little ahead of us...At least I know my mind gets carried away trying to put pieces together at times! Being next to those powerlines could also be giving you the feeling that what you experienced was more so...Try to document your experiences, what you feel, the time of day, your thoughts...You may even find that there is more going on.

Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood. ~Marie Curie
