Something playin peek a boo
Sponsor Messages Could it be a shadow person or ppl. It has a tendency to reach out from under the bed and grab at ones feet. Very unnerving to say the least. Any opinions would be welcome. |

RE: Something playin peek a boo
Well, one thing you would want ruled out first would be high EMF's from power sources in the home. There could be periodic power surges or wires that aren't grounded properly. This can cause one to see things such as shadows, as well as physical sensations on the skin...such as the feeling of having your feet or ankles grabbed.
This is not at all to say there isn't something unknown going on. I am learning a lot about natural explanations for things that seem paranormal, and I always ask to see if those things have been ruled out. Regardless, I can imagine it is unnerving to see this. If you haven't already, start keeping track of times that this happens. Write it down, as well as other things going on. Sending good thoughts to you and thank you for sharing your experience. RE: Something playin peek a boo
No, it wouldn't, but any leaking toxins or chemicals might. You say you have tested for gasses leaking, and that is good that it has been ruled out. However, what industry is around you? Is there anything that is leaking toxic chemicals into the area?
As far as testing for EMF's, you can use a compass in a pinch...with a compass, the needle always points north, however if the needle would move towards the area this is happening in (which may not be north), it could indicate high EMF's. You would then want to check for what electrical source could be causing it. EMF detectors can be found online, but it isn't necessary to get the expensive ones. Here is a link one of our other members recommended for one that's about $15.00 http://www.lessemf.com/gauss.html#121 And here is a link on how to check for mold. Mold can also cause a lot of what is happening, including the rashes. I have no idea how old your home is, but it isn't uncommon for older homes to have mold without it being obvious. http://www.moldunit.com/mold-detection.html Again, these are just some suggestions for getting the natural causes looked at first. I do believe that spirits make contact, and sometimes they can do some outrageous things to get our attention! But certainly for your health's sake, make sure everything else is looked at. RE: Something playin peek a boo
I live in suburbia..behind a elementary school..no plants of any kind around for miles..Husband is an electrition and keeps telling me that the rooms are fine..I am going to run off into the room in a minute and test the compass though. Ah, and no mold. Sence my children and I are very allergic we have had a mold test also..Didn't even think of that having anything to do with this but i guess it would. Plus we did just gut most of the house 2 years ago and remoldeled. May be lots of dust..lol
ok..off to find that compass..will let ya know. thanks ok..the compass worked correctly..pointed north..i even went around the house and always pointed to the north.. |

RE: Something playin peek a boo
hormonal stages can create poltergeist so we're told.... but poltergeist in the truest sense is a "noisy ghost"....moves things... opens cabinet doors, turns on the tv, communicates in some way or other...... What you describe doesn't seem to fit the classic description.... Shadow people are thought to be two things .... an accumulation of negative energies or a spirit that can't quite manifest.... the only marginal difference I perceive is where you say there is a red glow where there should be eyes. The shadow people that I have encountered didn't leave me with a sense of fear or dread either. How do the others that have seen this react or feel emotionally other than unnerved? Some of what you can do has to do with your own spiritual belief system, if any. I think you should read through our Energy section. SG made a great suggestion in documenting when it occurs and all the surrounding activities and emotions that have been occurring for several hours. Do you have an history on the house or land it is on? If you've not lived there most of your life, do you know anything about previous owners or tenants and any experiences they may have had? Afraid at this point I have more questions than solutions but it is because more information is needed. I don't want to jump to any conclusions. The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind. - Kahlil Gibran |
