Bunyip or Kianpraty
Sponsor Messages "The bunyip or kianpraty is a large mythical creature from Aboriginal mythology, said to lurk in swamps, billabongs, creeks, riverbeds, and waterholes." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunyip According to the novel, they live underground near the water and steal people faster than you can blink.... because it's so fast, descriptions of the bunyip are scarce. I was just impressed that Australia has a paranormal creature specific to their continent-- not entirely unique considering the wildlife that presently exists on the island of Australia-- but has anyone else ever heard of a bunyip before now? |

RE: Bunyip or Kianpraty
I can honestly say I never heard of a bunyip. I kind of want to get a dog and name it that now!
