I know I will get some disagreement on this, and I don't mean to step on anyone's beliefs, but this is my atheistic take.

Existence is conflict. The trees conflict against the blowing winds of a storm. Insects conflict with their predators. People conflict with each other over trivial things.

Angels and demons are just inter-dimensional beings, influencing our plane of existence, be it for good or evil. I would have to say that, yes, I'm sure that these beings do have conflicts with each other. Conflict is a part of nature. There may even be a dimension where they are waging a full out war right now.
