Simple question... I am not even sure this is in the right section. I'm wondering and also trying to understand people's opinion's on this.

Also i am not pro or con on this subject or believe or don't, but i am sure some of you are very serious on this subject.

Last statement i don't want this if possible to turn into an argument,i would just like some intelligent information on this.

Asking a Witch if she believes in spells is like asking a Christian if they believe in Prayer.
Yes spell casters excist I will try my best to answer all your questions on spells,
spell casting and even rituals and sabbats if need be.

Well to respond to you GypsyMoon i don't have an opinion on this so any infomation you have just put it out there.Like i said in the original post i want this the be a friendly thread with everyone's input and opinion.

I will first say there are many ways to cast spells and many different types of spells.
Spells can be used to Heal bless help summon conjure cleanse rebuke love hate curse also for weather harvest can be used to welcome spirits.
They can be done for pagan holidays such as ritualist spells there spells to bring on happiness sadness pain loss mourning life death nightmares good dreams positivity nagativity there elemental spells.
Then there different ways for these spells to be created theres Potions and Herbals,Candles and chanting sacrificing dancing inviting evoking envoking runic writings singing humming gestures there is to many types of how spell casting is preformed and more types of spells to even list.
it is infinite.. Not to mention the different spiritual religions that practise the craft.

I don't believe it but the people casting the spell and the people receiving a "curse" may believe it and if they believe it, they expect it to happen, wouldn't they.

good post Bracket. Spells to work doesnt need both partys involved.
I could cast a spell on you for instance for knowledge or wealth or guidance you do not have to know about it.
Wiccan's are against this type of spell casting they believe that both party's involved should know or be respected,. Some Witches on the other hand do not follow this rede but more intent and purpose. Also Wiccan's believe in harming none. So they do not preform Curses or Hex's.
But Witches like myself are more inclined to hex there house and belongings Hex's only follow a person that means ill towards you.
Curses can be done by a practitioner behind a subjects back or without them knowing. Curses are very harmful and very hard to stop untill there completly played out or done. Its really hard to take something like that back once you set it free.
People do not have to believe in Witches or Spells or Magic for them to exist. We will exist either way.
We have for centuries and will continue.

I know and I agree some will believe that. But magicks or casters or practitioners will still exist. But I agree it is not for everyone but hey what religion is?
