Rules and Guidelines:

No Entry Fee

All entries must be your own original work, written in English, unpublished, written specifically for this contest and published no where else. Entries must be received by Sunday, October 31, 2010. Winners will be named on December 5, 2010.

Subject of story ~ Paranormal related or scary, i.e. ghosts, demons, werewolves, vampires, monsters, scary legends/mysteries, UFOs, anything like that. Science fiction and fantasy are also welcome.

Stories should be between 600 to 1200 words, but MUST be at least 450 words.

Plagiarism, including the use of third-party song lyrics, and characters without written permission will result in disqualification. No foul language or profanity.

Each person may submit as many stories as they like but can only win once.

Winners must provide valid contact information to receive payment.

Prizes will be paid by choice of PayPal or prepaid Visa gift card (Anywhere) or postal money order (to U.S. addresses only).

Do not submit your stories or parts of stories here in the forum, including any story located in the Fiction Story forum. Any posted story in the forum is ineligible for the contest.

Only completed stories should be submitted and all entries are final with no revisions allowed.

Stories may be republished later on our partner or affiliate website(s), but full credit to authors will be given.

Forum membership is required to participate in this contest, however registration is easy and free.
