how to edit length of evp?

Hi, I have evp s I would like to share with you but some are long files. An investigater put cool edit pro on my pc to listen to evp s. I would like to know if you could tell me how to cut pieces of the files with evp s out . I am new to the site and will be posting my problems that my daughter and I are facing and would like everyone enterested to hear these evp s . I fear for my families safty.... mainly my daughters. they are harrassing her . I will post my problems later today because I need to get help.thankyou

Open the evp in cool edit pro

Play it and watch carefully for the part you want as the new file.

Now stop the file from playing. Take your mouse and highlight the area you would like the new file to be. Once high lighted you can play just that part to be sure.

Now go to edit and copy the highlighted area.

Now go to paste and select you would like it as a new selection. Name it and your done.
