This is a great book by James Herbert, I love his books.

It's about a family who move temporarily to a big old house in the English countryside due to there son going missing. The dog is the first to notice something isn't quite right about the place. Secrets start emerging thick and fast the story is unnerving and tragic. The poor wee souls trapped in the house by the spirit of the evil guardian who killed them as refugees during the war.

If you haven't read it it's a must if you love getting spooked. The author has sure done his job right if he makes readers feel so creeped out Reading it.
I dare you to read it at bedtime lol.

Sounds great to me ... I see a movie here!

The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.

It's fab, I'm Reading it for the third time. It was published 2006. He's due to publish another one this Autumn I believe. James' books would make cracking films, I dare say he has been approached in the past.

Try his books:

Nobody True
The Ghosts off Sleath
Moon
Once
The Others
The Magic Cottage
The Rats
Shrine

That's for the benefit who isn't familiar with his work.

Head to the library.
