BEKs

This is one of my all-time favourite creepy topics to discuss of all the paranormal topics. Admittedly the only information to be found about BEKs (black-eyed kids) are online and it's limited to just a select few stories so there's really no basis for truth in them, yet they're still creepy as hell. Big eyes

The story first appeared 11 years ago via the story of Brian Bethel and his encounter with these kids. His story can be found here:

Another tale popped up in 2004 and was relayed on About.com's paranormal section:

So what's your take on things?

RE: BEKs
Hmmm, very interesting. I'll definitely have to do some research on "black eyed kids". I'd never even heard of them before. A quick search shows a lot of claims that it's all "urban legend". But, to me that don't mean a thing. Many people try to calmly push aside anything that is supernatural.

RE: BEKs
I remember the Brian Bethal story! Probably one of my favourite. Even if it is an urban legend, it's still got that great creep factor. I didn't know there were others though.

I agree Sorcha. Urban legend or not, it's got a great creep factor.

RE: BEKs
I've read quite a few stories of black eyed kids. JMO, but i believe these are demons masquerading as children.
