I would agree, that on paper, atheists would make better targets. But, and I don't have any thing to really back this up, doesn't it seem like people that believe in a deity report attacks more? Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single instance of an atheist being attacked, but that's probably one of those things that changes your mind real quick on the subject.

I do like what you said about the idea of good and evil though. They are just words of man's invention that are used to describe things.

Well, the reason is probably because religious people are more likely to report it and attribute it to demonic entities, whereas atheists would be more likely to rationalize whatever is happening to them as a series of events gone horribly awry. Then again, I could be wrong. Remember, I'm not a seasoned expert on humans, but I'm good enough at 15 to surpass most other teens. That's my input.

RE: Are religious people more prone to demons?
I called you AVP, not ASP, my bad, haha. Don't know where I got AVP from.

So you're 15? I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with that. You're very smart for your age.

I agree with the likelihood of reporting between spiritual/religious vs. atheist. I know, for me, if something that crazy was going on, I would just have to figure out what it was through reasoning and experiments. I would probably make it worse, haha. But running off to a religious organization and calling it a demon would likely be the last thing I would do.

Agreed I believe ASP is what we refer to as a Old soul.
I was not that smart at 15 not even close I thought but I did have a crush on the lead singer of Journey!
But I comepletly agree howoldami. I feel the same.

I have never heard of an Athiest being possessed either in all my investigations or study I know some think of possession differently in like Voodoo practises it is welcomed were in Christian practises it is feared and Japanese have a completly different thoughts on this all together.
But I have never had an Athiest tell me he/she is possessed or was possessed or ask for help with a possession or any type of demonic activties.
That is not saying it wont happen I just wouldnt hold my breath.

Well, I believe in them, but I see it as just a negative energy. A powerful negative energy, but just another form of energy nonetheless. I would use demon to describe them just because it's a good descriptor, even though I don't believe in them in the strict sense of the word.

Off topic, but I feel the need to respond anyhow. I've been told before that I'm an Old Soul. Must explain my common monotonous feelings. Strangely enough, I began reading and speaking at two.
