Well, the reason is probably because religious people are more likely to report it and attribute it to demonic entities, whereas atheists would be more likely to rationalize whatever is happening to them as a series of events gone horribly awry. Then again, I could be wrong. Remember, I'm not a seasoned expert on humans, but I'm good enough at 15 to surpass most other teens. That's my input. |

RE: Are religious people more prone to demons?
I called you AVP, not ASP, my bad, haha. Don't know where I got AVP from.
So you're 15? I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with that. You're very smart for your age. I agree with the likelihood of reporting between spiritual/religious vs. atheist. I know, for me, if something that crazy was going on, I would just have to figure out what it was through reasoning and experiments. I would probably make it worse, haha. But running off to a religious organization and calling it a demon would likely be the last thing I would do. |

Well, I believe in them, but I see it as just a negative energy. A powerful negative energy, but just another form of energy nonetheless. I would use demon to describe them just because it's a good descriptor, even though I don't believe in them in the strict sense of the word. |
