I don't know who said it was frowned upon, but it shouldn't be. If you don't want to share your gifts...you are not under obligation to. You have the right to ask for guidance, and those who guide have the right to say no if they choose.

I refused to read someone here before, that was only the second time I have ever done so...but when a persons spirit isn't in the right place, I don't go near them.

UNR, i know this is an older post, but by reading what you wrote, that could be any one of us. That also fits me to a T and im sure most here. I really think that the OP is serious about this!!! There are people here that can help, and i would appreciate it being taken more seriously. Probably the best thing to do is, if a subject does not interest you, just pass right by it. Im sorry if i am being rude, but this is a paranormal website, and people will come here with questions.

K2M Once again I see you have a problem with me I have no problem with that. The problem I have is so many here being close minded they are afraid of other explanations. People would rather all the people who are looking the truth not post. Has paranormal been proven to exist? Can you name one psychic who is accurate consistently? What I did is psychic related as its done by so many who do cold readings and shotgun readings. Ok its your turn .... should I go suck a lemon again?

If the site owner doesn't want both sides of a post they can ban me, why not put in the rules only like thinking people we aren't looking for the truth?

I have a question but I don't think that it is very relivant. How can you trust a reading over the internet if they haven't met you? because I have done some online psychic readings and they all get it wrong with me. But even when I go to see people they always say the same thing to me. So like I said how can a internet reading be accurate if you have not met that person?

I also thought that it wasn't alright to ask for a reading. I've been waiting for someone to offer their insight on my constant dilemma's in my life hoping that someone had sensed my psy being out of whack for quite a few decades, LOL. I have my own ideas on the matter but I'm no psychic.......LOL.

If a reader is truly gifted/skilled, they should be able to connect with you without seeing you, even over the internet. Seek out a highly reputable company that tests its readers well. For example, if you look up Michele Knight in the UK, she has a team of phone psychics who are put through extensive testing before they're allowed to work for her. They have to do at least four "blind" readings over the phone - they don't know the client's name or birthday, and the client doesn't even say a word - just sits in silence on the other end of the phone. The reader is expected to rattle off detail after detail of the client's situation while having no idea who is on the other end of the phone. And they do it. The ones that pass, anyway. Michele's readers are pretty expensive, but obviously there's a reason. There are other places that test pretty well, but that's the most rigorous example I can think of off the top of my head now. Also getting a personal recommendation is always good. And many readers offer free short introductory readings to see if they connect with you before you start paying. But the point is...it certainly is possible for a gifted psychic to read you over the phone or internet.

I just saw this new post after I responded to the other one. My post window was open for too long while I was typing and answering the phone at the same time, lol.

I'm new to this forum, but I participate on a couple spiritual and psychic development forums that have threads set up where people can come along and ask if any of us are willing to give them a free reading. Many people there are working on developing their skills and enjoy the opportunity to practice. Others are further along ability-wise and it can be a good way to get to know a reader's style and connection before working with them further.

You and me both, psy being out of whack. I don't know if it ever was in whack!

Being out of whack may be a good thing. Maybe it opens up our minds a bit. I know that i am out of whack and i love it!!!!!
