Another common view on this is something called the "seed of satan"
I haven't actually done research on it but a lot of people believe that Satan impregnated Eve right after Adam slept with her. She then had twins and Cain was actually the son of satan. Supposedly Satan knew the destiny of humans and that they would be judging angels in the end days. Since Satan was already kicked out of the 3rd heaven he decided to create off spring through humans to basically go up in rank through his off spring. Later in Genesis there are many angels that do this.
If you google "seed of satan" you'll find tons of info. I could be off but I believe the belief is more commonly held by controversal groups so I don't want to surf for links on the family computer

Something else to point out. God impregnated Mary with Jesus. I never actually thought about that till recently...
