RE: chelsea hotel
I really enjoy seeing pics of old hotels and houses, haunted or not. They just seem so facinating. I did see that area in the middle of the lobby. I just wonder if it could have been a cold spot. If you ever run into a big cold spot, you will know it for sure.
I would love to see more pics!! Pride and Fear always distort the truth into either a false sense of security or a lack of confidence and diminished self-worth.

If you ever run into a big cold spot, you will know it for sure. haha sure here's a couple more. i will try and dig my camera out later and find you some more. we're packing to move so it's crazy around here atm. the place is definitely active. if anyone has proper equipment and lives nearby (and knows what they're doing hehe) i am sure they will pick something up. we stayed in 330, thats the only room ive been in and can attest to personally, but there have been countless experiences reported in the building. as for cold spots, they're all over the place. the lobby is insane :0) and as for the nude above the door...i think we can all agree that the sheer size of those breasts is supernatural if nothing else lolol ![]() this is the staircase looking down ![]() another painting ![]() yet more artwork (note: the artwork is amazing all over the building and im a horrible photographer....my apologies haha) |

I think your a very good photographer, you know how to catch it. I am a photographer, and i just love the one with the stairs, that is very cool. Now, that one of the stairs would look great in a frame!!! The more unique the better.

RE: chelsea hotel
Years ago I stayed in a really old hotel in San Francisco, the Sir Francis Drake. It was built in the 1920's with some wonderful appointments. All the rooms, and they were not large, were furnished in period furniture. I can't say I had any experiences there, but it was almost like you could feel the souls that had walked those halls. It was a great location to check out the history of the city and close to the wharf as well as Union Station. It truly was one of my more memorable jaunts. Many years before that, I stayed in another one in Charlotte, NC that was as old or older... but it seems I heard it sustained quite a bit of damage with Hurricane Andrew. I can't recall the name of it at the moment but it was equally charming.
