How do you know if you're a demon or a spirit possessing somone else?

maybe you should ask that in a PM I mean I dont think its right to ask personal information on a forum. If it is a Minor I believe more so that this question should be taken to PM. I am simply thinking of saftey reasons for the forum you and thirteen.

This is an interesting question to be debated for sure. I think that if a person was possessed by something, others would view it as a form of insanity and have them commited. Then once commited, who would take their ramblings seriousy? So, I now wonder how many people were/are commited that have a form of possession going on. I agree that one cannot completely take us over, which could account for the "moments of clarity" that people have...

Some people with multiple personality disorder will have an identity claim themselves demonic or from a different plane, or an alien, even an animal. The mind is a powerful thing. But who is to say whether a peron like that is actually possessed? I leave it to the experts. Are there any?

snapdragon, very good point!! Are there any experts? I have heard so many different explanations of demons, evil, negative energy, ECT: I have heard what doctors have to say, and have heard what witches, or anyone that deals with the paranormal have to say, i just dont know who to believe.

Myself, i suffer from PTSD, but i really dont talk about it, because, i also deal with the paranormal. Once you have been deemed as mentally ill, or have any type of mood disorder, anything you say after that about the paranormal just goes out the window. so, there, i have said it, and i still live with the paranormal. In fact, my neurologist, as i also have MS. has told me that many times when the brain is not functioning properly we are more apt to have paranormal experiences.

As far as demon possesion, i really dont have an answer. All i know is, i have seen what i would call, people possesed by something, if it be a demon, or satan or a negative entity, it does not really matter when your life is in danger.

There is an old saying ( living with our demons) which i would think to mean, living with our past and/or our bad experiences.

I could read and research untill kingdom come, but nothing will change my mind of what i have encountered in real life experience.

I have said before, i have seen the devil in the flesh of a human, right before he went on a killing spree. I stared into his eyes with a shot gun to my forhead. I will never forget his distorted face as long as i live. I knew this person very well, and knew it was not him.

That was my worst experience with a possesed soul. This evil, broke down my door and came into my home, he was not invited.

What i know now is, my time on earth was not over, and my higher power surrounded me. Hard to explain, but very true. I was very spiritual before this happened, almost 17 years ago, and since then have become stronger in my faith, much stronger.

I hope i didn't get to off track, sometimes i just feel that someone reading the posts needs answers immediatly. I hope i have helped someone today.

My Goodness K2M... I hope that person that did this to you and your family is not with this world any more. My heart is so broken for you, your strength amazes me. You are such a gift to this world. Why things like this have to happen, I just don't know. It agars me and breaks my heart to the core of my being...

Thank you all for being so supportive, i just felt as if i needed to say what i said. In the killing spree i lost my daughter, my neighbor, and the shooter killed himself. I am a survivor of the worst evil a person could ever imagine.

We can all be survivors, that is the point i am trying to make. Actually, my first husband was an angel compared to the evil i saw that day. Ths strange thing is, this was my daughters x boyfriend, of 3 years, he was like a son to me, this was no stranger. That morning, what i saw was not the boy i knew. Well, he was 20, so almost a man.

If i can survive evil, so can anyone else. I have worked very hard to make a new life for myself, and its a fight every day. Sometimes i wonder if, when i stared into his eyes that he may have cast some sort of evil on me. He wanted me dead, as he blamed the break up on me.

I talked about this more on True ghost tales many months ago. It is hard to talk about, but i trully believe that God has me right where he wants me, and giving people hope. There are times when we think the world has ended, but it just keeps on spinning.

If you ever feel alone and scared, think of Amber my daughter. She was an angel on earth, as she is in Heaven. She will protect you and will be right there beside you for comfort. She ia a guardian angel of sorts, and she is always with us.

I have lived in fear for many years as there was more to this story. Now, i put my total trust in my higher power and he gives me strengh 24/7.

I dont try to push God on anyone, we all have our own beliefs, and i never judge that. We all have a higher power, and we have to keep our faith in that.

To the original poster, dont ever give up and dont ever give in. All of this could be a learning experience for you so you can help others in the future. Im not saying its a good thing, but it may be a needed thing. Its taken me a long time to come to this conclusion.

I feel that some people are chosen to have certain experiences in life, its not a mistake. We all have our purpose here on earth. I have searched high a low for mine, but have finally figured it out.

Now, all of this works both ways, we reap what we sow, and if your heart and soul are full of good intentions, you will always be taken care of, no matter what. There are many good souls in this world, and they are right around the corner. You will never be alone, and there will always be someone who understands.

Our almighty Higher Power, please give peace and love to the people who are struggling today. Surround them with your bubble of protection, and let them know that they are beautiful inside and out, and have purpose here on earth. Amen
