Travelling ghosts?

Sponsor Messages
Just a thought that came to me this afternoon. When somebody dies, does their spirit stay in the country they died on or can they travel across the globe? Just thinking about my friends in america, if they died, could they visit me here in the UK?

I know theres astral travel but can that be anywhere?

RE: Travelling ghosts?
I have come to understand that spirits can be omnipresent. My deceased grandmother may be present with me in spirit...and across town at the same time messing in my mother's spices *which she loves to do*.

So is it possible? The only thing that limits the abilities of the spirit world, is the limit of our belief in the possibilites which exist.

RE: Travelling ghosts?
If the stories are to be believed, one of the ghostly books I own says that Queen Mary appears at various castles she lived in over her lifetime and even in one she never visited once. Going on the assumption that ghosts visit places which had meaning in their lives, it would seem entirely possible. However, astral travel is something entirely different. It is only done by the living.

What would you do if you knew nothing about me, yet I said that I'd protect you with my life, then died doing just that and later you discovered I was someone you would've hated had our paths crossed under different circumstances?

It's all just one big *facepalm* around here.

So that goes back to the idea that heaven is what you make it to be.

About astral travel..i read something about astral travel in a book i had and it said something about if the "Line" broke during the travel then you couldn't return to conciousness?

That's a really scary thing..what actually happens in that case?

I can't find the website I was looking at the other day, but it mentioned a lot about will and how that prevents you from going off completely. So that it is impossible for you to completely disconnect from your body.

Do you think, and i wonder this myself,if spirits can focus on an object,or a place somehow. And if they can do this it would seem to mean that our present dimension is readily available to them.

RE: Travelling ghosts?
I personally believe from the ones I have spoken to, they are astral travelers, and also seem to know where you are, from some kind of connection with you. So like say you are in California and go on a trip to Mexico, there going to know right where you are.
