My brow chakra starts opening or doing something...I don't know what it is doing...I feel pressure on it. This happens every now and then. My crown chakra used to do this too. I'm not sure what this means. My friend (who is a medium) says that I should open it and see if spirits are trying to talk to me. I'm not really ready for that but this keeps happening and it's getting very very annoying.

Any ideas on what I should do? This has been going on for about 2 months now. I do sense presence of spirits and sometimes hear thoughts that don't come from my mind (usually as I am drifing off into sleep) one of which was a premonition that came true.

IMO before opening communication with anything you should protect yourself. If you have masterd that then I would begin the stages of opening a line of communication use mediums or friend psychics have them write down random information on paper and you do the same then compaire to see if its opening. Let it flow and just becareful and always protect yourself and loved ones.
Also make sure opening this door is something you actually want to do. I have a friend who opened the window so much that her home looks like a waiting room for spirits. She is forever helping people cross over and delaing with negative energys.. even when she doesnt want to like when she is sick or in the hospital. Or when she wants to help her kids or be quite with her hubby. She has had to astablish rules and quite time. She has gained way more control of it through the years but it has been not easy. I myself am a hyper sensitve I read things I dont want to, See things I dont wish to. "I dont have great control yet". and have to deal with the fall out and sadly so does my husband. for instance there was a Spirit following me through the Store the other day. I was with my husband and this noisy spirit wouldnt leave me alone. I was ignoring or trying to but also turned off what my husband was saying to me. I looked at his lips seen him speaking focused back on him he said louder "We need hotdog buns" and 5 packs of hot dog buns came flying off the shelf and landed infront of him. /sigh
scaring the crap out of the old lady that was in the isle with us .embarrassing my husband who was raised Christian midwest beliefs and gets frusterated with the entire situation. What I am trying to get at is this not only effects you but everyone around you. Just make sure you want to open these doors.

Thanks GypsyMoon. I do practice grounding and protecting. I have a friend as well the crosses spirits over and he does get them visiting him often, although it isn't often enough for him to be bothered. He really enjoys helping them. I'm not sure I'm willing to go that far but for two months this has been bugging me and I almost feel like I HAVE to try just to make it stop. Perhaps another month or two and I will break down and actually try! I have tried psychic exercises and none of them work. Any sort of premonitions or readings I do are always random and never intended.

Yes but you also said you are a healer correct? When you psychically heal someone you make a connection could this be just a huge build up of junk from healing? Do you cleanse after you heal? Just trying to close all angles or possibilitys.

Yes, I cut the connection. It is constantly bothering me even when I don't do healings.
If someone around me needs healing I might feel it but not in my brow chakra instead it is in the spot that needs healing.
