seeing auras

i have never been able to see a person's aura....it is interesting to read that this ability can learned through energy work...

i see aura's around plants a lot of the time...well i think it is an aura...it never has color...it is more like an pulsing outline around the plants leaves and stem...more of a grayish shadowy tone

when my father passed away he came to me in a green aura...which i found interesting because his favourit color was green...probable just coincidence...shrugs...never the less...it was truely an amazing sight...

I'm sure it was and no, it probably wasn't a coincidence. When I do energy work on people I often have the impetus to tell them which color the energy they should try to attract to them is.

Also regarding the plants, try cutting a leaf off of a plant and see if you can still see the aura. It usually stays although the leaf or branch is not there anymore for quite a while.

I'm sorry to say that I actually don't see auras. But I think I have an answer as to why. You say you see auras. Perhaps this is because you are tuning yourself to feel the energy around you, and to better understand energy and its usage. If you see an aura around somebody, it might not be that you actually "see" it. It could be that your body recognizes the signs that such a field gives off. Thus, you know that the aura is there, and so your brain sort of, I guess, identifies it. In other words, labeling it with what how you have trained it to perceive certain patterns. So, you wouldn't be physically seeing the aura, you would be mentally superimposing your own idea of what it would look like, upon the person. Still functional, but you wouldn't be able to pick it up on camera.

I know for me, I don't see auras. However, what I do is send out a sort of "energy probe", with the purpose of making a connection with my target. Thus, developing more of an empathic link with the person. How this works is, I feel the intensity, and type of that person's energy "aura", and I can draw emotional links based off of what I know they have to be filtering their energy through, in order to give off that aura.

well traditionally children are able to see peoples auras but that was a long time ago in the old day now i am not entirely sure. i know about 5 people who can auras. one of them can also tell which element you might belong to. but on a basic level everyone can see auras it just depends if you are strong enough in the spirit world, it does matter if you are strong in this world or not you have to be strong in the spirit world because in a sanse you are not really seeing their auras but actullay seeing their spirit forms. or at least that is how a friend of mine explain it to me.

Yes, exactly! You see auras too! You can develop it further if you choose to because you have a natural ability.
I see them strongly around people filled with emotion (even if I don't want to)- anger seems to be the most visible, I guess because of all the energy that goes into anger. Well, anger and love. Love is a deep pink or reddish pink, and anger- you know what that looks like. And the whole rainbow around their head, I totally get that!
As a kid I thought everyone saw what I saw. That's what my mom told me when I asked her at age 3 or 4. When I grew older I thought I was one of only a few, because I didn't meet anyone who described what I saw. Or at least they didn't come out and say it, so it is nice to hear someone else describe something so similar to what I see, because it makes me feel a little more "normal" to know that there are others like myself.
It's not something I tell people usually. I wouldn't tell just anybody, only those really close to me, so it's nice to finally be able to talk about it so freely and anonymously.

What you describe around the pant is the plant's aura. I see them around everything, and what you are describing is in fact exactly what a plant's aura looks like verses a person's aura or the aura of a non living object. It is void of color, and more of a glow or thin greyish haze which emanates from the leaves. We see this on people as the first layer of aura that is around a person closest to the skin. It is called the etheric aura.

Green is one of the best colors to see in an aura. Green means healing energy. Healer's usual aura color is normally green (of course the aura changes depending on emotion, but most of us have a base color) and healers auras are green. Or someone who is healing healthily will too. It will appear to be a bright and vibrant lighter emerald green hue.

I went to a "tapping" (tapping for emotional freedom) workshop recently and after having tapped away the anger I was feeling, we did another tapping exercise and suddenly I could see everyone's aura around me. The teacher's was amazing, I could really see how she was channelling energy out of the top of her head and how she was grounding herself through her feet. But what was really strange was that I suddenly saw two auras that did not belong to anyone, come and stand right behind her. I'm supposing that these were her spiritual guides of some sort. When I tried to talk to her about it after the meeting though, I found that she really wasn't open to discuss any of these things. I guess she thought I was just plain mad (and I can't blame her ), but I know what I saw...

When you see an "extra" aura around a person normally it is a guide. At least in my experience, guides will either be a part of your aura or a little seperate from your aura but they are always a different color, most of the time i see them as white blobs for lack of a better term[/align]
