RE: I could have died several times, but I didn't.
Hallucinations....when my mother was younger she had pneumonia and was on the death bed...she hallucinated and saw a Victorian woman sitting on the end of her bed,and there were two children playing and laughing in the room too, both dressed the same(victorian).
My great uncle who was dying in the hospital, cried out loud "It Burns!!...the flames!!"...was he sampling Hell?? My Aunt seen her brother who died at a young age come walking down a road, and told her to go back, that it wasnt her time yet.. The mind is a strange place when yer dying,so who knows what's going thru it... So different people have different Hallucinations, but that's what I believe they are..just Hallucinations. |

Whatever it was that happened...I'm very glad you are here to tell the tale now! RE: I could have died several times, but I didn't.
According to the Mayo Clinic's website, the most common infection by salmonella involves Gastroenteritis which has the following symptoms:
In some cases it can also lead to Typhoid fever. If you had a really bad case of salmonella poisoning, you could've also had this Typhoid fever. One symptom of that is temps above 102 F. Hallucinations are common in people who have high temps during an illness. What would you do if you knew nothing about me, yet I said that I'd protect you with my life, then died doing just that and later you discovered I was someone you would've hated had our paths crossed under different circumstances? It's all just one big *facepalm* around here. I heart Sandra Bullock. |

Ok, hallucinations is an easy answer. But, is it possible that when a person is very ill, ie: high fevers, That certain parts of the brain become active ? Parts that are not usually active, and consciuosly observed ? I died suddenly when I was 16. I wasn't sick nor did I have any fevers. Yet, I too was "sent back", which pissed me off for 20 yrs ! I didn't see "loved ones" who had passed on before. What I did walk away with was a deeper understanding of what comes after this life's journey.
If it's all just a person's imagination, then how do you account for recall of past lives ? You don't have to be on death's bed, so to speak, to experience this phenomenom. At least that's what I believe. |

The dark side can consist of so many different things. (03-11-2010 08:46 AM)Reverend Mother Wrote: Ok, hallucinations is an easy answer. I have never posted on past lives, but since you have brought it up, i have been there also...i know i was here before... I even know how i died in the past life.....i have seen whats ahead, and look forward to it.... Pride and Fear always distort the truth into either a false sense of security or a lack of confidence and diminished self-worth.

RE: I could have died several times, but I didn't.
Again, it could be the way you were describing these things you saw to your friend....maybe in her experience, these things haven't been good. I agree, that it wasn't your time...I think something deep within you knew that, and in your mind, it manifested as these faces...JMO.
I can get what Reverend Mother is saying to an extent...is the fever causing hallucinations, or is it opening up things that we don't normally see? My opinion is that it is the fever causing the hallucinations...but I am open to other thoughts about it as well. As far as the black faces, i have also seen them, but not when i was sick. I feel that no matter how spiritual we are, there are times when the dark side can peek in. you have seen blacks faces too? Would you tell me about it. Here are some of my near death expierences: When I was 20 I had an operation, a week later the wound was not correctly closed, so it opened and I didn't notice that right away, so I was running around with a open wound until <i felt something wet and it was old blood, I went immediately to the next hospital and the doctor said if I had come an hour later, I would have died. With 22 I got in to a gunfire, all my friends got shot and one died, just me I had nothing, I saw how the bullets flew by on the right side and the left. A carcrash with 23 no one was seatbelted we where driving real fast on the highway a car in front of us, the driver had a heartattack, was standing in the middle of the highway we hit him and then the guardingrail, after that 7 cars hit us in the back, the policeman said we are lucky normally we would have been dead. When I was 26 I went canyoning, at one place the guide said we should just run and jump off cause it's slippery it's only 3 meters, (I think that's about 118,11 inches) so not to high, he told us to jump off to the left side cause on the right side there is a big rock, so what I did is, cause I was a bit scared, I ran and stopped slipped away and fell, the crazy thing about this is, I should have hit my head on the rock, but instead of that I was somehow turned around in the air and my feet hit the rock, the guide came to me and he was very pail and said that I have a real good guardian angel, cause before we started, we talked about my tattoos, I have my guardian angel on the right shoulder and praying hands on my back. Well anyways life wants me

The idea of us only using certain sections of our brain is a myth. We actually use all of our brain. |
