It all started one evening when I was cleaning and fixing my room, I had just moved to my sisters house. I finished fixing my new room and decided it was time for me to take a break and relax. So I decided to lay down in bed.

I was laying down but I was laying down on the side where you put your feet, my head was on that side, I had the TV on and was watching it side way’s. All of a sudden I saw one of my jeans from the closet move. I didn’t put any importance to it, when all of a sudden I felt someone was on the side of my bed looking at me.

When I turned my head, all I saw was a huge black shadow standing right on my left side.

Holy Cow.

I don't blame her for not being able to sleep! I'd be a bit terrified if I looked in the mirror and saw what she described of herself. I am definitely going to read the Covelo Shadow People link that is at the bottom of that story. I thought it was sounding familiar at first (see my thread in sleep paralysis) but then it took a whole new turn.

If this is the same thing I've seen before and lots of people I know have seen, it's not what I'd actually call a shadow creature. Was it solid looking? The Shadow Creatures are just like a living persons shadow, at least all the ones we've seen have been.
If this is what I'm thinking it is it had a more solid, darker appearance than a shadow.
If that's what it was, these things (whatever they are) are definitely dangerous! The Shadow Creatures we've seen haven't been frightening, the times I've seen the "other" things I described they reeked of evil.

Thats very intesting but I don't think demons can come in a shape or form but you can feel them in your emotions,fear,anger,and rage so maybe since you were in a pich-dark room where you were probly already in fear because the dark could cause you to see haluciations (things you see that aren't realy there) so with the dark,the fear,and the imagination must have caused you to see this "creature" who knows since people can only encounter demons through mentality, maybe a demon realy did come in but only made you frightened enough to see a scary image in the dark so it was probly just a demon messing with your head or maybe it is you who's messing with your own head with the fear,haluciations, and darkness and as far as the whole "pale with black eyes" reflection, that was probly just in your head after "imagining" such a scary thing happening to you, it made you look in the mirror and see a pale face with black eyes
so there, mystery solved ! and also about the halutiation factor, you can still see imagin strange things just by closing your eyes realy tight and then relaxing them without a forced eye-shut and then you may see wierd things
