RE: ALIEN EVIDENCE IN RELIGIOUS ART
Oh please! You can read anything into everything.
Since the early 19th Century, we have been blessed with a better understanding of our Earth and of our Universe, but back in the day when those paintings were commissioned, it was widely believed that a man lived in the Moon and comets and Solar/Lunar eclipses were omens of doom wrought upon us by God. These "Alien Craft", as the Author calls them, are merely the Artist's intepretation of the Celestial Bodies according to the lore of the time. "No one holds your hand so tight as a person holding on to life". |

Alpha, I think it is a very interesting article. To think we are the only ones alive in this spectacular universe is selfish and narrowminded. These examples can be explained as representations of saints, the holy spirit, angels etc. The icons used in this religious art has been explained in this article.

Another nice article, UNR. But how does a dog and a man represent the birth of Christ?

RE: ALIEN EVIDENCE IN RELIGIOUS ART
I don't know what those images are...but it is not beyond possibility that the artists of the time may have been trying to "sneak" in a few concepts of their own. Regardless...excellent article, and very interesting concepts talked about. Check out some of the designs of the great Leonardo DaVinci...quite ahead of its time I must say. Scroll down a bit and see the armoured car..... http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs/365.asp "When you feel like a toad on the highway of life... and everyone seems like a steel-belted radial... when you're lyin' there squished in an assortment of bodily fluids... at least you left your mark." ~Arnie Dogan, "The Red Green Show" |

I've seen that armored car pic before. It is quite scary, actually!

The notion of picking one time of the year to be decent to other people is obscene because it's actually validating the notion of being miserable wretches the rest of the year. |
