I walked right through it...
Sponsor Messages I had just turned on the tv and was about to watch, not thinking of anything really, and i walked right into a huge cold spot. It was bigger than me, and seemed like a rush of cold air in a way. I tried following it around the living room, but soon lost it....there i was with my hands out in front of me trying to feel it again. Havent hit a huge one like that in quite a while. I feel small ones often, but this was massive. It was almost like walking through a huge, cold, damp, airy light fog, but i didnt see anything, but, oh boy did i feel it. I really think i scared it away, as it thought i was chasing it, well i was!!!! After that i even walked all around the kitchen to see if i could find it. You see, that sort of thing does not scare me, it amazes me... Anyway, that was it, but it was awesome!!!! RE: I walked right through it...
Oh wow, that's interesting.
The tombstone was still there? and this is new construction zone, how odd how the property owner (the builder) wouldn't have had everything cleaned up, and it being new subdivision they would have had a construction company in to put all the sewers and watermains and catchbasins that's just odd, but an interesting find for u. RE: I walked right through it...
They are basically cleaning off one lot at a time, as the build... we all have our separate septic tanks, and the water lines do run through the subdivision. So, in our back yard, it has only been scraped off, believe me, its heck to get grass to grow, as the ground is very hard. When hubby dug this up, it took everything in him to pry this huge chunk of concrete out... there ia another one not far from it, maybe i can talk him into digging it up also when the weather gets nicer...we have found small bones and such, but just animal bones.. we have also found some very old nails and what looks like pieces of old farm equipment..i just wonder what was here before all of that..
We just looked on the internet again, and it looks like there where 2 old farm houses, and 2 barns very near our property, with a dirt road as a driveway....also an area of what looks like a horse pasture and some type of oval riding ring. This isnt a typical subdivsion, its out in the country in the middle of no where!!! Many of the lots are still for sale. Due to the economy, the building has really slowed down.well stopped. But, if you want a big new house, and over half an acre, its worth the drive.... We are in the foothills of the NC mountains, but live in SC, just 5 minutes from the border. That is what was so appealing to us. We can see the Blue Ridge mountains from our house. Have you ever heard of the Blue ridge parkway in North Carolina? Or Chimney Rock NC, we are not far from those.... Pride and Fear always distort the truth into either a false sense of security or a lack of confidence and diminished self-worth.

RE: I walked right through it...
I just find it interesting to know that at some point in time someone once called that home.
The reason why i mentioned that about the builder is because i also had my house built in 2008, and the builder had all the lots cleaned up, now we are on town water and sewers so they would have dug all this up even in the back part of the lots, cause the builder has put catchbasins in the backyards. Well not the builder himself but the construction company he had hired. Just down the street from me there's a Catholic Church and behind it (across the street) use to be a cemetary years ago and they started to excavate the area because they were building on the lot, well little did they know they'd be digging up human bones, it was taped off (by police) for investigation, i should try to find the article on it. RE: I walked right through it...
In our subdivision, the back yards have no water pipes run, but do have septic tanks, this piece of concrete is way out past the fence in the area where we plant our veggie garden every year!!! We have between half and three quarter of an acre in all, hubby told me last night, more than i thought. Looking at the satalite view of the land, it looks like our property was right in between 2 houses and 2 barns. Hubby gets these chills very often, even when its 95 degrees outside, he did mention that last night. We could be dealing with animals, i think thats very cool.. i feel that, whatever it was, i scared it away , as it probably didnt see me either, it just felt a huge bump..
