several times this happened to me.. I was sleeping, then I wake up seeing myself sleeping but from a partial view, i.e. just up to my body, can't see my head, sometimes i feel my brain being electrocuted, then something or some force is taking me away,/ taking me up but I am resisting. A lot of times this happens but now this lessened...

RE: is this normal?
it is your astral body trying to escape from your physical one. Just let it happen, its a good thing. Its a gift! many people try their whole lives to achieve this(me included!)

Check and make sure your sleeping area isn't a 'fear cage' first before you come to a conclusion?

RE: is this normal?
What you experienced is normal and happens to just about everybody. It's called an out of body experience, it can scare somebody if they've never experienced it in there life. But there's nothing to worry about it's harmless at the most. The only thing it does is scare people as I said if they've never experienced it before.

Here check this out, it might be of some help to explaining the out of body experience you had.

Butterfly Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but by how many moments in life that take your breath away.

RE: is this normal?
I think you were just having a dream. It is not unheard of to see yourself in a dream, it's called residual self image. There's nothing supernatural about it.
