Are you gifted ???

When I was a child, I had no one who understood this area. Heck, I didn't understand it. But I was always different from other children. Because of this , I was meanly treated by other children. Had I understood my gifts as a child, many of them would not be here today. When I got older, I decided to learn more about what I was and felt. Then my sister called me a witch ! I was in league with Satan ! Stupid woman. She's a born again nut case, keeps babbling about "the end times" crap. I don't talk to her anymore. She wouldn't know God if he jumped up and bit her in the rectum !

Anyway, I knew things before they happened, saw things in my dreams that occurred. Realized I could make things happen. Changed the traffic lights so I wouldn't have to stop. A passenger in another car saw me, and he totally flipped out ! LOL. I can hear spirits, sometimes see them. I kept an eye out for signs in my own children. They are all gifted, but don't uase it. I have made every effort to use the gifts to help others. Healing seems to be the most developed. Which led me to becoming a chaplain for the hospitals.

Things elude me as to why I do things. Then they are revealed , in some cases many years later. Right now, I am trying to figure out why, I bought a huge house out in a very small rural community, who are very much into their religion. In fact, when someone first met me, the first words out of his mouth were " you are the ones who don't go to church !" Then he caught himself , needless to say I was stunned. But I had to laugh about it afterwords. My views on church is another matter. We do just fine , talking to God anywhere we desire to.

I think some people hide behind the "Cross" sorta speak. They claim to be a Christian so that they may judge others.
I know psychic abilitys are a hot topic around my husbands family.
They believe all psychic abilitys are from the Devil.
So I asked if the Prophets in the Bible who seen past present and future was Psychic.
My mother in law gasped at the mear thought and then explained there gifts unlike mine or anyone elses was a Gift from God. /go figure... *Rolls eyes*

I have to say, my in-laws are great people and of the southern Baptist faith. That is fine with me and they have never tried to cram how they feel down my throat.

They only know that i have gifts from some experiences that have happened, for instance when my dad passed away and right before, there where some things that happened that showed them that i already knew ahead of time.

There have also been some other instances, such as a family member passing, and i already knew exactly the time and what happened. We dont talk to my in-laws much, but they know i am gifted. Some things are just best left unsaid.

I have also had premonisions of my husbands family members, and my hubby actually called his mom or dad to see what was going on, and it has always been what i saw or felt. they have always asked him how i knew, and he says, well, you know she picks up on things!!!

There are some people in the world that we just dont need to talk to about what we know, they will never understand.

This is so true and by trying to discuss our beliefs causes fear in them so its unhealthy in my opinion all the way around. You are right some things are better left unsaid.

I'm think I might be gifted. But I really don't know alot about it. It's sort of something I have been discovering in my life. I have been told by many people that I am gifted. Since I was a small child I have always been able to feel presences and emotions from spirits. It's very strange it's like a metaphysical sensation. Some examples I can give you are I went to church a month ago with my friend and I could feel the presence of God in the church very heavily. It felt like being in the presence of the most purest and most understanding and deep love. It was really amazing. When I pray/talk to God and when I am around lots of people praying i get the same feeling. Then there was this time I visited a haunted location. There were supposedly many spirits there. When I walked onto the porch and into the house I felt this very damp presence. It felt like there were heavy weights on me as I walked through it. It was almost like a feeling of death. Then there's this demon I wound up with that follows me everywhere. Some of you read my story about it. From it, I get this horrible feeling. It is like pure hatred and malice. It feels like part of me is about to burst into flames from all the negative energy.

I dunno alot about this gift. I have heard it referred to as "clairsentience". When I was little I remember thinking it was normal and everyone had it. As I got older I realized I was wrong.

I am gifted... I am my biggest skeptic though... lol! I've been like this all my life.

I have already shared some of my stories here in the forum... um I would show you my threads... as soon as I find out where they are.
