Controlling Elements?

I am really close with my cousin, Lexi. Why? We share the same gift. We were hanging out one day and she told me that God was talking to her last night. I was totally confused and I laughed and asked her, "What?". She said that God came to her in a dream last night, and said that God gave everyone a gift. I kept asking her what the gift was and she finally ansswered. "He said that Earth is my friend, along with very few other people. He said that Fire is your friend." she told me. I did some resaerch and found about the five elements; Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, and Metal. I was confused.

The next day, we were running through the woods, because my parents were having a bonfire, and we were looking for sticks. I was watching her close, to make sure she didn`t step in anything, when she was staring at a willow tree. I smiled and told her that it is really pretty, and she smiled and said the tree was talking. I laughed and she said listen! I listened and all that there was was the vine swishing against eachother, yet it was the most beautiful thing I`ve ever heard.
We went back to the bonfire and put the sticks in, and I had to watch the fire. It was dying down and I looked at it again and just stared, and it slowly grew bigger.

What is this? Controlling of the Elements?????

Re: Controlling Elements?
Um... metal isn't an element. The fifth one is Spirit. I don't believe that anyone can control the elements. More than likely what happened was that the fire was dying down because it was running out of fuel while at the same time seeking out more. When it did, it flared back up again.

I'd guess that the fire blazed back up because you'd added some more sticks to it. Just like ScáthachIt just said, it was dying down because it needed more fuel. The sticks fueled the fire, probably not you.
