ouija board question

i got a question about the board, would it be a smart move if i use one to contact my grandparents? they all had died when i was an infant so i wanna get to know them somehow

Now it depends on who you ask as to what kind of answer you'll get. Some will say avoid the ouija board as it opens doors to the dark side. they will say IF you was able to contact someone HOW would you know it was them and not an evil entity taking advantage of you. So from the believers they will say DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!!

Now I myself will tell you the ouija board is nothing but a toy. You control your own answers with your subconscious so if you look at this once again an ouija board will not talk to the other side. So know matter who you listen to, you will not talk to your dead grand parents.

Instead why not ask family about them, look at family pictures and use these to form your own memories.

just a surgestion but try reading some of the posts in the ouiji board section on here then you decide if you want to try using one and as unr said i personaly would say dont do it!!

I am so sorry you lost your grandparents before you had a chance to get to know them...but I truly believe (my opinion here) that their spirits are with you and still around you, keeping an eye out. You don't need a board to talk to them.

i wouldnt do it if i were, only because you really never know what your getting yourself into. you can easily open a door that you cannot close, but this is your decision and if you still want to do it i would do my research on risk and other diffrent factors the good and bad.

I don't really believe that it has any real supernatural connections and is all in the users mind, so basically, go ahead. It wont hurt you.

I think UglyNRude's comments are spot on.

I belong to the former category, in that I believe you would be talking to evil spirits / demons. You may end up with truthful answers, mixed with lies. You could be in for a distressing experience.

The second part of the post is also very true. Hopefully there are some photos of them around, but talking about them is a great way of keeping them alive. Maybe another thing you could do is look into your family tree. This could be interesting, and give you plenty to discuss with other family members.

Your grandparent lived a lot of years to get to be grandparents. I'm sure they had friends, there must be photo albums. Stories in the family? Personal belongings with some significant story behind them. Try doing some detective work. Asking for help using a Ouija is asking someone to help you hang yourself.

May your grandparents rest well, and you stick to talking with the living. Talking to the dead can be dangerous. There is no way to know for sure if you are actually communicating with your grandpartents. There are a lot of pretenders with plans of their own involving you. They are just waiting for a chance to...,

I can appreciate your wish to get to know deceased relatives, esp. grandparents, I never got to know them as well as I has wished. I just make it a standard reply that I suggest that "the board" not be used for any reasons, nothing personal, as some say it can do anything from opening a "door' to the other side and "things" might come through that might not be willing to go back to where they came from, from "ghosts" to "demons". I don't have any idea what might or might not come through, IF a doorway is opened once, and making it easier for "more" to come through the next time you use it.I generally advise those with one to not use it and dispose of it. How is another debate.
