RE: Genuine poltergeist activity?
Honestly, i don't believe this one bit..... Could have been 'edited'....the joys of 'editing' are great.
I see so many of these exact vids on youtube, and if this were completely true why haven't they been aired on tv? "I'm extraordinarily patient provided i get my way in the end." -Margaret Thatcher "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." -Coco Chanel...

RE: Genuine poltergeist activity?
These things are easily faked, either through editing or the infamous "fishing line". You're right geo....youtube is FULL of these things, and you never hear any more about it. I would really have a hard time believing any "paranormal activity" that ended up on youtube. Not downin' Youtube! I love it! But not as evidence!! "When you feel like a toad on the highway of life... and everyone seems like a steel-belted radial... when you're lyin' there squished in an assortment of bodily fluids... at least you left your mark." ~Arnie Dogan, "The Red Green Show" |

RE: Genuine poltergeist activity?
I've read more than a few books about various types of "ghosts." Poltergeists are of particular interest to me. Everyone seems to focus on objects seemingly moving about on their own.
However, I've come across many stories where several people or more were visited by "noisy ghosts." That is as far as it went. There was a lot of noise that gave one the distinct impression that furniture and windows were being broken, making one think that an intruder was in the house tearing the place up. Upon close inspection, the people present found nothing out of place, and no damage to the house or its contents. You may have noticed I purposely ignored mentioning whether or not children were involved. That is because most of the stories had little to do with children. I think poltergeist do a pretty convincing job of making noise that would wake the dead, if that were possible. However, I don't buy the idea that PK coming from children has anything to do with "moving" things about. There are others who suggest that placing the "cause" of moving objects about onto children, we are being unfair to the child..., does anyone ask the children how that makes them feel? I suspect that human thoughts with a strong emotional charge attract uninvited visitors, and it is they who toy with us. Why do the noisy ghosts not always (or ever) actually do any real damage to one's home or self? What do you think? jeff Forgiveness is next to deity. |
