RE: Time Slips / Time Travel...ghosts? Other worlds?
I actually have a personal experience. During my highschool years my bestfriend and i were at our local library, it was closing time and we were stuck inside waiting for our ride to arrive. In the meantime my friend and i noticed a book behind the counter (new release) which u had to sign up for, the women behind the counter wanted us to sign up she said there was only one person ahead of us. The book was on Marilyn Monroe, anyways our ride got there and off we went.
My friend ended up having a dream about the book, she was having a telephone conversation with Marilyn Monroe and she was saying stuff like, you and your friend should have signed the paper and something about her being the first on the list. Anyways my friend told me about her dream. We were curious and off we went to the local library, well guess what? The book was GONE, there never was a book on the shelf about Marilyn, then they went and got one of her more recent books and it was not it, the women at the local library looked at us weird. Oh and that woman that was there no one seemed to fit her description...... Talk about weird, i still get goose bumps all over, i have them now just typing this. "I'm extraordinarily patient provided i get my way in the end." -Margaret Thatcher "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." -Coco Chanel...

Did you ever find out which book it was? I wonder if your friends dream was a real ghost encounter. |

I have never seen that book, she has the wildest dreams. She'd scare me when she had dreams that involved me.

RE: Time Slips / Time Travel...ghosts? Other worlds?
I love Marilyn Monroe and have a large collection of her books, thats why I was curious! :-)
My husband has weird dreams. The other night he dreamt he was babysitting himself lol. He was actually hugging himself as a baby and thinking, "I better love this baby, because he is me." Weird stuff! Anyway...back on the subject...I do believe in time slips, but I believe that we can only go to the past, I don't think we can go forward, because that is a time that hasn't been created yet. What do others think about that? Has there EVER been tales of seeing the future? I only ever hear about slipping into a past time. |

It always seems as though our peeks into the future are hazy but our visions from the past are much clearer. Maybe because of your theory on time not being created yet. Our prophetic glimpes into the future are only hypothetical. |

RE: Time Slips / Time Travel...ghosts? Other worlds?
I have experienced deja Vu many times, I always wondered if that was some sort of time travel/time slip. But it never made sense, because it was like experiencing something I'd experienced before, rather than seeing what would happen.... Almost as if our lives are written in another realm, and somehow we have "memories" of the life planned for us resurfacing.
It's very weird! |
