RE: DONT TRY BURNING THE BOARD
Guess we just disagree on whether or not to burn the "boards". Like i said, it seems to do ok with me, exceppt for the ones I collect that have something unusual about them. Valid points from you also.

The notion of picking one time of the year to be decent to other people is obscene because it's actually validating the notion of being miserable wretches the rest of the year.

Wow, That sounds freaky. Mabye it had to do with the piece you missed? Mabye if you burned that piece the other pieces would have stayed burnt.

we were all around 13 at the time and were in the last week of term lazy week as we called it as most lessons we just chill outs
one day we were chatting and someone mentioned doind a ouiji board for some fun we all agreed to try it out and getting some cardboard made a board and started to "play" with it.
it moved a bit gave silly answers to out questions but nothing speical and we soon got board with it.
taking the cardboard we tore it into 5 peices i put it into my bag and said i would burn it later which i did on a small bonfire.
it was summer break so we were off school for 6 weeks and i did not see the friends much but on the day i was returning to school i started to pack my bag and found a peice of the cardboard we had used, thinking i must have missed one peice i threw it under my bed and went to school.
when i got there my friends were waiting for me at the gates and they all started to ask me where i had got rid of the board.
i told them i had burnt 4 peices on a bonfire but had missed one that was at home. then they all took a peice of card out of there bags and gave them to me.
it was the board!! there was no way any of them could have had the peices but they all said that they had found them that morning in there bags and accused me of putting them there before we had left school before summer break.
i lost 4 great friends that day and gained 4 enemys i was called a lier and treated like dirt for the next 3 years while i was at school by the 4 guys and never did explain how a board i personaly burnt found its self in our bags.

so dont try to burn your boards it never works!!

I know of someone who burned a board. Two weeks later she found the pieces in the bottom of her closet. freaky

I'm also sorry that you had to go threw that with your so called friends. But if the treated you like that they really weren't your friends to begin with. I know this wisdom doesn't help when your that age.

love and miss you dad

RE: DONT TRY BURNING THE BOARD
Said this before, so it will be the last time. Just douse it with gasoline, throw a match, and back up. Try burning it several times, until there is nothing but ahses left. Scatter them in a remote area, over running water is supposedly the best.

taz890,

I'm sorry your friends blamed you. It's always easier to blame your problems on someone else. I am aware that quite a number of people have warned against burning a Ouija board. However, there are examples in the Bible where entire towns gathered all the books, artifacts, and various objects used in their occult practice. They made a big pile, and set it on fire, the end of it was simply a pile of ashes.

It could be that it worked because there was an apostle there leading all these people back into God's care, and God's light. This story you've shared has happened to a lot of other people.

In the 21st century, we could take a book, rip out all the pages, run them through a shredder, put them in a bag, drop the bag into a waste collection container and just forget about it.Icontexto-emoticons-06-032x032

Wait a while and see what happens. You could write something across the first and last page, say something like a prayer, then shred the pages, dump the bag again, wait and see if the same book returns. Something has got to work. I mean these beings are not all powerful!! Perhaps you should burn the shredded pages then scatter the ashes in a river, after saying a prayer asking for God's help.Icontexto-emoticons-07-032x032

Don't give up!Icontexto-emoticons-14-032x032
