A zombie attack would be pointless. Seriously. For one, extreme weather conditions. They would freeze into submission where cold enough, and would incinerate where hot enough. Predators would have a field day too since the functions that keep us safe from predators are not present in any sort of dead being. Theres more, I'm just too lazy to type it all right now.

I'm ready for it, I always keep my truck stocked up with camping and survival supplies. But that's just general paranoia about some kind of society ending event, it's not exclusive to the zombie apocalypse. I'm ready either way though!

I'd be overjoyed should it happen, though. For one, less humans. Generally, less humans is synonymous with less death and destruction. We are, after all, the only mammal that doesn't automatically reach a mutual relationship with our surroundings, sustaining resources and such.
