Very often the dead people my wife talks to tell their loved ones that they are touching, hugging, caressing the living. Descriptions of these "touches" are often a tingling, a bug crawling, a breeze and a lot of other mild sensations.

Recognition of the experience means a lot to the dead. I know of one woman who was so impressed by the experience of actually being able to feel her dead son "hug" her that she asked him to expand the communication which he did and she is now doing "readings" for parents of dead children as her dead son facilitates the messages. Very amazing gift that she shares.

Moment of death...noone dies alone. Our dead loved ones are waiting excitedly for our "new birth" to the otherside.

uh...and I don't know who used the term "pure evil" but my humble opinion, formed from messages from the otherside, is that does not exist. More hollywood.

Hi Den, i think your wife and i have a lot in common!!! i have always been able to communicate with the other side!! Uncle Leroy was ready to go and be with his wife Peggy, that i helped pass over about 2 years ago...i also added that to my original post.....i didnt ask for it, they just wanted me there i guess.. i was very glad to help them, and comfort them. Passing over is a very quick process... i have been amazed by it...Something i am hesitant about saying is, i have been to Heaven... When Aunt Peggy died, i went with her, and wanted to stay, it was so wonderful....The atmosphere was sweet, the colors, oh the colors where not like colors i have ever seen here on earth... i saw my loved ones for only a few seconds, and they told me that i had to go back, that it wasnt my time.. I really wanted to stay!!! Maybe your wife understands all of this?? Once i got back, i felt very alone for a little while, leaving my daughter and dad, and everyone else.. but, i realized, its not my time, its time to get on with life, for now, anyway....... I know about that electric chill......but today I had something different happen....an immediate electric headache that turned my stomach into knots. I was in the local Goodwill when it happened. After leaving the store...within 30 minutes it went away??? Strange indeed.

Remember that energy remains attached to objects. You were in a thrift store, with alot of old items. Maybe some had even belonged to people who had passed on. They leave their energy imprint on the items they leave behind.

Could have simply been negative energy, could have been evil. Either way, thrift stores are ideal places for this type of thing to accumulate. It can be overwhelming to one who is gifted with sensing energies in objects. It's known as Psychometry.

Psychometry by the way is also a great way for a person to develop mediumship skills, to handle and 'read' about a person from their belongings.

I used to go to flea markets, yard sales and such, but because of all of the energies i was bringing into my home, i had to stop...i also bought and sold on e-bay for 3 years... we had a huge rec room in the basement where i did a lot of work, boy,, most of the time, it felt like a party down there.lol.. but not always!!! After my dad passed away, i stopped, and donated everything to charity, many truck loads.. It was a very interesting time!!!

HL, that is so true, sometimes the negativity is attached to an object. Often, that's how our homes end up haunted in the first place, spirits both good and evil can be carried in with something.

And, dennisoc, I humbly disagree. Maybe you've just not experienced that sort of pure evil I'm talking about. But, I have dealt with it and I know without a doubt that it's real. A lot of people don't believe in things until they experience it for themselves, but I hope that you never have to go through what I did to believe.

Haunted, i agree with you about ( pure evil ) may it be satan, a demon, ect::: i have stared it in the face many times in my life, starting with my first hubby.. and then the day my daughter died, as i had a shotgun against my forhead. this boys head was disfigured!! i had known him for 3 years, he was full of evil that morning,, his voice had also changed....It was not the boy i knew!! I can still see his head, very wide, out of proportion, with another face on the side of his face... that is the worst evil i have ever seen............ dont ever want to see anything like that again... my first hubby was a piece of cake compared to that...

Pure evil, is out there!! i did not invite it in, it kicked in my door. now i think of it,, that boy i knew could have never done that.. it was a very sturdy door... metal!!! you know i have never thought about that.. how in the world did he kick that door in, and without any trouble. i was standing on the other side, luckily i was far enough back, not to be hit by it...the door had a deadbolt on it also... you see, even though its been 16 years, i continue to pick up the pieces...

This is an old post, but i thought i would bring it back....My life has changed very much since that post and i am in a much better place now. Things still happen, dont get me wrong, but i more in control of what i allow and what i dont.

I guess you could say, i have drawn the line to what i let in and keep out. We do have control in our lives!!!! I have also decided that if i am in a negative situation, i leave. I only hang around positive people these days, and this makes life much nicer. We do have the power inside ourselves, and in my case, with God's help.

I know this is an old post, but i needed to bring it back up.... The paranormal world gets more interesting every day!!! Now, my Mom and I are lliving together, and she is telling me more and more things that are happening to her. she has smelled the (burn) smell a few times, and i have also, in this home!!!! We have checked everything out, and know its the other side. She has also been experiencing very cold spots and hot spots. she has also predicted many events lately.

Mom had a bad car accident this past February, which totaled her car. She is not driving any more... since that time she is picking up on many strange things that she never has before. Her insight and gifts have become more powerful and she is amazed at how it has all reaved up. The car accident really scared her !!! She told me that she blacked out before she hit another car. There where only 2 cars on the road at the time, hers and they guy she hit. the story does not fit the scene of the accident, and the officer did not beleive the other driver at all... anyway, she said all she remembers is, driving only a mile from our house, on her way home, and the crash woke her up.

Like i said, she has changed!!!! She told me the other day that she could feel something walking behind her chair, and its not me.... she also said that she sees a dark figure walk past her at times. I told her this was the black man that i have seen since 4 years old. She said he was very tall and very thin, i said, yep, thats him....

Its just amazing that her gifts are getting stronger, and i really feel that this will save her life at some point. It may save my life, i just dont know. Its all happening for a reason, i do know that......
