inviting shadow people

As I learn still about this subject that has haunted me since I was about three... I don't believe all 'Shadow People' are bad and they may not actually be 'Shadow People' However the Hat Man is what I feel is giving off the most negative energy or feeding off of it.

As most know when we die, we die sometimes on bad conditions which helps us take a non stable form or image. This is why most do not have any features at first reveal. Sometimes we choose to take a form by choice or we do not want to reveal ourselves, We just simply haunt the living.

However in the case of the famous Hat Man, I only see him if bad things are going to happen to me or someone else or he is 'Lurking'. An experience I had was with a counselor taking me home from school cause I missed my ride. I was just listening to the radio, watching and noticing my surroundings when I noticed the Hat Man standing next to a mail box and I could feel something telling me he noticed me looking at him, He waved and I told my counselor to stop the car and she did, I wanted a better look even though she thought I was staring at nothing. All of a sudden, even being deaf I heard the cars a few cars up crash in turning the corner. She thought I was crazy and she never wanted to take me home again.

I first saw him when I was three and my sister had the chicken pox. I didn't like the feel to him and I made it loud and clear to him. Another thing that happened about six months ago was I sort of had a vision telling me someone was going to get into a car accident but one sunday it rained forever and I saw the Hat Man standing over my friend as almost if he were trying to tell me to stop him from driving. A few days later I get a call from my friend tellling me he and his girlfriend were in a car accident later Sunday evening.

I admit I have my creepy feelings for most Shadows but I would not want to summon any nor would I allow one to come into my home. Thats just me, Because if you do not have a good and calm feeling to yourself [Dead or Alive] I will not talk to you and will probably use the same feelings I feel you feeling towards you. Which sometimes this makes the dead more angrier but I do give them a choice to leave andd calm down, then come back or leave me alone.

Again, these are my opinions...I am not an expert, and I do not claim that I am right...they are just observations from what I've read. I don't think they physically hurt a person, but I think the more negative a person allows in their life...the more these entities have to feed on.

I have to agree with, especially in regards to if a spirit or this shadow figure appears to be negative or derives of or thrives on negativity that in life this was how they were as living people. I truely believe that. Also, I found it funny how you stated that these entities appear to be a hooded figure. Currently in my home, I've experienced such a thing (on a regular basis) and was able to capture it on camera, what shocks me is, to the eye it was more of a transparent misty-like shadow. However, when I bought the image up on computer it appeared solid as a cloaked or hooded figure. This was shocking! So I totally believe in such a thing. I've been lookin for the pic, cus I would like too share it with everyone. Very interesting and scary!

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with this character or story, but who is the Hat Man?
