Am I the cause of Poltergeist activity?
Sponsor Messages Let's just say that I'm going through an EXTREMELY stressful time. More emotional than anything. Like everyone I have the everyday stresses of life, but for the last month my girlfriend has been living in another city. We are trying to relocate etc, etc. In the last month, my emotions have been off the wall. Also in the last month the activity in my house has increased immensely. Doors open and close in front of us, objects come flying off shelfs or the TV. It's just been crazy!! I truly, truly hope I'm not in some way responsible for this. If its me, or just my negativity feeding something else. Just wondering if anyone else had gone through something similar. I'm going to cleanse my home as instructed, but I just want to cover my bases. What do I do if I'm hurting the situation too? |

RE: Am I the cause of Poltergeist activity?
Well I thing you have multiple issues at stake here. Can your own energy cause problems? yes. And can this sort of gift attract the paranormal...ie ghosts, demons, etc. Yes.
I don't understand it all and I don't know even a significant portion of what I believe is unknown to us all. Sometimes we are granted with the abilities to do or see or understand more of what is really going on...but even then it is still small in comparison to the whole picture. It is by understanding how small we are in comparison to the creator (God) that we begin to repect the creator and his/her infinite wisdom. Whenever I get really angry or aggrevated...electronics and computers seem to mess up or go on the blink. I have been noticing this trend with me for about 15 years now. Also...I do believe and personally know that the entities of the spiritual world can feed off of our emotions. In fact..negative emotions such as hate, fear, stress, anger,...etc. feed a demon. I guess what I am trying to say is this...you can affect the atmosphere around you just as much as a ghost or demon can. I hope I am making sense. http://www.myspace.com/addictionmatters ![]() "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:11 |

When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence. |

RE: Am I the cause of Poltergeist activity?
Thanks both of you. You ever been in a situation where you feel you know the truth, you just need someone else to concur? That's kind of how I felt about this. I'm definitely going to follow UNR's advice. I've been looking into different meditation techniques etc, to help relieve some of this stress.
On a side note. I find it absolutely FASCINATING the mentions and belief in God I find on here. Raised as religious and strictly as I was, I never thought belief in the paranormal and religion could mix. Hope that makes sense. I was raised that there were no ghosts, persons with abilities etc. It was all demonic. It's VERY refreshing to see a different point of view. Very encouraging as well. Thank you all for that. |

I agree that it is very possible that you are the cause of some of it. I'm sorry you are going through such a rough time. Hopefully things will get better soon. Keep us posted.
And as far as religion, spirituality, science... I never understood how people think they aren't related. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." ~ Billy, age 4 |
