Quote:zozo is the demon with dominion over ouija boards.

Says...?

This is an internet meme or urban legend that continues to make the rounds and other than other ghost sites with similar nebulous claims to feed the "celebrity" of this would-be "demon". I'd like to see some actual resources that go into detailed information on this demon, what bibliography the author uses and what qualifications he has, is the demon from the Christian religion, etc? ZOZO doesn't even have a Wikipedia entry.

Ouija Use 1992-1996: 1.5 sess./day @45 min./sess. (1.13h) @83.4 days/yr @4 yrs
Group: 500.6 sess. = 375.4 hrs/4 yrs
Personal Partic.: 67% = 335.4 sess. = 251.5 hrs/4 yrs
Current Conclusion: Ideomotor effect and suggestibility

RE: My ouija experience(s). Also, "ZoZo"
ZoZo is a phenomenon occurring in many parts of the world. I have been doing searches concerning this repeating phantasm for a month now. I only just heard of it. I am intrigued by the stories I read about this contact. I am also confused by the differing stories of how 'zozo' presents itself as some master or power of the Ouija. One story claimed it said to be the guardian over souls in Limbo. Which is just not possible. There is no such thing as a master force dominating any form of divination. ZoZo as I can surmise is no more than a entity attempting to appear more powerful than it really is. A common Demonic practice. The more fear and apprehension it can produce the more ability, or control, it gains over the medium who happens across it's path. It is not all that. It simply wants you to believe it is. Also, the phenomenon is occurring in different parts of the world at the same time. Quite a trick, even for a demon. So there may be more than one attempting to use this as a tool for inciting fear into the hearts of the unsuspecting. Treat it as you would any other negative entity and it will go away.

RE: My ouija experience(s). Also, "ZoZo"
While I appreciate the relative circumspection, tazno, I personally think a bit more is in order, in the case of this alleged "entity", as I have been reading about this ZOZO nonsense for a few years and it has a very "Slender Man" quality to it, which is also a farce.

If you have all these bookmarks and information you've gathered on this name and such, it would be great if you could post them for the other interested posters here to look into, or the ones you think are the best resources for information that you found the most useful. I'd appreciate such a trove of information on the name also, please, if you are so inclined.

RE: My ouija experience(s). Also, "ZoZo"
I have only recently began searching this 'zozo' out. An entity that has been this active for so long should have surfaced in my info sooner. Or at least I would think it would. If you've been reading about it for years, you probably have more info than I. I certainly have had no experiences with it or any of the other 'Z' entities. There is a lot to look through but will be glad to share it as I progress. I have only been reading posts concerning personal accounts and as of yet can make no connection to any more than wild stories for entertainment or imaginative association with lesser activity. Promoting fear and little less. I have little time for 'stories' and this may be why I haven't heard of it, it isn't anything to be concerned about so my attentions will be 'whenever' rather than a full blown search and study.

RE: My ouija experience(s). Also, "ZoZo"
I've gotten a spirit named ZoZo once, but he never came again. He seemed like a pretty good guy, unlike the other stories. The only thing out of the ordinary was that my bible had all the pages ripped out of it, and strewn around the room. The cover also had claw marks in the front and back. I never take my bible out of the house, and I don't own any pets.

Now if you google ZoZo, you will see that it may be coming to a theater near you...eventually anyway. Darren is making an independent film of ZoZo experiences that he has collected through all the kind people who have posted them. Based on 'actual events' even.

Edit to add: Just to be clear, I'm not speaking of the film ZOZO that came out in 2005.

After reading this I'm wondering if the name - Tete, might be the name of a demon. Tete is the spirit that me and my friends always contacted.
Think i'm gonna go google it. I hope it's not a demon :o
