It's a neat picture and it does look like somebody from the wast down is standing there.

Butterfly Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but by how many moments in life that take your breath away.

I can't stand Ghost Lab!!! Stop the madness already!!! Out of all the Paranormal shows it's the worst and this proves it! Awesome job with the debunk! All I needed to see was the John Wilkes Boothe episode and I was done. Those guys drove me nuts.

RE: Ghost Lab's Shadow Person Photo
The old saying "hooray for Hollywood". These shows have to make weekly extraordinary shows that keep people excited and at a "pee my pants" scared. They also are in it to make $$$. Hence, when I watch them (which is very seldom) I laugh at them and usually end up switching to something else. I cant believe that people buy into all their sensationalism.

That picture could be interpreted as "something" by a crew that wasn't there in daylight or didn't bother to go back and do some followup. We do work in Harper's Ferry. we had a picture sent to us someone took from their visit there asking for our opinions. It looked for all the world like someone in a cape like attire standing at the curb looking up through the buildings at us. Several weeks later we were back up in HF doing some daytime follow up and made a point to follow up for this person, went and took pictures of the same spot, the same location. The "Ghost" turned out to be a tripod announcement board that is taken in and out of the building and put out at the curb.

RE: Ghost Lab's Shadow Person Photo
Once again this shows how they don't bother to debunk. Now in this great job of debunking by Jadewik anyone who see's the fence would understand what it was. Now I just watched this youtube video the other day and every member went crazy they caught a shadow man. The very next day they were out there in the daylight and were still making a big deal of how good they are to have captured it. Now this just shows that any presented evidence can't be taken seriously.

One more complaint I have about them is the Ghost Lab itself. Can you imagine a client wanting anonymity when a huge trailer pulls up?

Look at the 4:32 mark (they see the shadow man) Also the next day they are in the cemetery look at 5:55 They are there in the daylight bragging how good they are.

When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence.

Nice debunk. Wow, I can't believe they missed something so simple.

The above photo is a screenshot from the Ghost Lab Clip, referenced above. I've marked with a red circle the area where they claim they see a "Shadow Person". Take a moment and tell me what you see there... Do you see a person?

I would like to take a moment here to emphasize the importance of taking photos and viewing locations in the daylight... and not just relying on night-photos.

I was in Tombstone on March 21, 2009. I took photos at sunset at Boot Hill (I was going on a ghost walk later that evening)... if I'd have remembered Helldorado Days was the 3rd weekend in October, I'd have gone to Tombstone again this last weekend... but that's besides the point. The point is I also took photos near the graves of Dan Dowd and Red Sample. My photos show that what Ghost Lab believes to be a "shadow person" was actually decorative wrought iron surrounding a single grave.

Here is a clip of my photo-- you can see how BIG a real person (my husband...) standing in that same location would be in a photograph. And, you can also clearly discern the existence of the wrought iron fence.

If you'd like to see the photo not cropped, please click on the cropped version, below. (Apparently, Photobucket re-sized it... so it's not full-size)

Here's a closer photo of the grave location-- again, apologies for the "sunset" photos.

Don't believe everything you hear or think you see.

Apparently, I'm not the only one to have debunked this one:

it could be a person, but it only looks like two legs:/ very creepy/freaky thoeSmile
