This picture has stumped everyone

A couple of years ago I got some old real 35mm film developed that had been sitting around for a few years. This picture jumped out at me! None of the other pics had anything like this on them. This was at my mother's house, on her birthday. I was taking pictures of the clay pots on her shelf that my kids painted for her birthday. There was nothing behind me that could have caused this reflection. No dish towels, no coat racks, no people...my mom keeps a very simple house without a lot of stuff. And I don't wear robes or dresses...or hoods, lol. Does not look like my reflection at ALL. The window behind the sink looks out onto their deck. You can faintly see the deck rails in the background. But there was also nothing outside that could have made this.

My parents don't live in an old house. But there has been noises, and my mother and I have both, on different occasions, seen "shadow people" in our peripheral vision.

The weird thing is that when I enlarged the photo, inside the space where the head would be is a little face. Not lying. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I included an enlarged pic here to see if you see the same thing.

There are 3 pictures here combined in one - the original, then the "ghost" enlarged on the right, and under that the "face".

Are you telling me, you cant see her face? she is staring upwards, and her right side of her face is shown, large dark eye socket,can even see the brow outline above, the right side of her nostril is also poiting upwards, and then the black mouth/top lip the left side is covered by a sheet/veil/or possible her hair. She seems to be in pain or sorrow.
That is what I see in the main photo,this is a headshot to me, I'm surprised no one else see's this.

OMG this is so frustrating that I can't see what you're talking about! All I see is the very small face inside the black hole at the top!

I cant copy and paste with red lines and what not due to the fact I'm on a lousy computer, but I will try to explain better.
The black hole at the top,is a parting of the hair/sheet/veil, right below it is a line (eyebrow), below that is a long black area(eye),
next to it, is the right side of her nostril,come down below this, and you can see her mouth partialy open,the veil/sheet/hair covers most of it, this is a head shot that I am staring at, the whole thing is a head shot, cant ya see it now?

The mind is always looking for familiar shapes in nondescript ones.....I can kind of see what you're talking about, Doc, but that's because you suggested it to me....before, I saw it the way trixiekins saw it...the full, small face inside the black hole.

Paraedolia is the term for finding those familiar shapes. I don't know exactly what it is...maybe a double exposure of some kind, I don't know....but in my opinion, it isn't a picture of a ghost.

That's only my opinion....it is a very interesting picture, and it does look like something.

I've seen Paraedolia before, this doesnt look like that to me, this picture is haunting to me, I was so fascinated with it, that I downloaded it, and I stare at occasionaly trying to figure what/who she is, I know I have seen this face before, whether it be on an a metal album cover or a movie, or whatever, but I know for a fact, that I have seen her before somewhere.

Hmmm...not sure where you have seen the face or why you would have, unless someone took it off the angels and ghosts site and posted it somewhere else. And no matter how hard I try I really can't see the face you're seeing, even though I see the specific areas you're talking about.

I have looked at this photo so many times, trying to figure it out, that it's driving me mentally ill. I would think a double exposure would be more transparent...plus it doesn't look like anything in any of the other photos in the roll.

it just looks like a sheet to me, but in trixie's pic I see a woman of either Italian or Spanish descent

I do see a face in the smallest picture, but have no idea what it really is. It does look like there's a reflection of a cabinet or something in the window on the original photo though. So whatever it is that does look like a ghost could be a reflection of something as well.
