That really struck a cord with me of being sick. Im sure most of you know the i have MS and Fibromyalgia, and i just found out that i have, Gamma Globulin deficiency, which is a blood disease, these all target your immune system...So, my body is in constant fight mode.... Some of us here have talked about stress causing paranormal problems also. So, in my case, it all makes perfect sense....

I will know in 3 weeks what type of treatment i will have, probably an IV infusion of Gamma Globulin, which will give me a lot of the same side effects of chemo... oh boy!! i can see the spirits visiting now,,lol.....

It is nice to know that others feel and sense the same type things that i do. I know that when i get a fever, wow, things really go nuts... i will keep you all informed...

I'm like that alot. I'm Empathic and sometimes its hard to read things or be around other people. I've learned how to shield myself but when I'm sick my shields get week and I start to feel the feelings again if that makes sense.

Well, I don't mean to rock the boat, but it may not be the servers or your computers that are haunted. Think about it. You have thoughts about "I just finished, and all I have to do is save, send, or post, and you are tired. Maybe a bit weak. That is exactly the time you're prone to make a mistake..., or maybe you are being influenced by some other intelligence, and things don't end well. Hmmmmm. MAYBE YOU'RE HAUNTED!!!!!!

Oh, I agree, if there is a site that is going to be haunted it would be this one!

Enough of that. Really, if a person stays constantly focused on the paranormal (like I am frequently), one might actually start attracting paranormal activites. No joke. I really believe this.

Has anyone here ever heard of the book titled "The Secret?" I'm not really sure, but I think I have a copy laying around somewhere in my living room. My living room looks like I have a poltergeist living with me. It could take a while to find it!

The basic idea is something like this, think about what it is you want and sooner or later you might attract it to you. Sort of like "The Power of Positive Thinking." All kidding aside, as my parent's separation was developing, there were some really powerful emotionally charged thinking..., very negative. That is when we had a real haunting in the house. I personally came face to face (no face really) with one of those "shadow people." There was less than a foot between us. We examined each other for about 10 seconds, then it practically flew out of the house.

I thought I could do better on my own, living without foreign beings in my house. I moved out several weeks later, to be exact July 4, 1976. Not long after that, there were three of these beings that came up through the floor in my old bedroom, which was then occupied by one of my younger brothers. Scared the hell out of him!! He was about 16 or 17 at the time, but he slept with the lights on for several years after that. There was no basement, only a solid slab of concrete that the house was built on. Hmmmmm?

I'm not really alarmed about running into one of the adult form shadows. But after I've read several hundred stories about other people's experiences, sometimes with black cats, I'm a little uncertain now. Seems there are "shadow cats" that simply meander about one's house like it owns the place. When the residents try to chase the cat down, it will simply vanish if it's trapped in a corner. And some people have even found them as strays, take them home and feed them, and they are like one of the family..., until they disappear into thin air.

There was one family that already had a black cat, and didn't notice anything unusual until they realized there were actually two cats. These "shadow cats" seem to get along fairly well with other cats..., nothing like dogs behavior, barking, scratching, at doors, then runaway when the being approaches.

I know a little about witches from a few hundred years ago..., they frequently had what is commonly known as a "familiar" like a black cat. A familiar being some sort of helper. I'm not sure. I've never really studied much about witchcraft.

Well, I'm far enough off the topic now, I should stop now. Boo!

Just a quick note. When America was fighting in WWI and WWII, the mechanics that were working on all the aircraft, they would sometimes claim there were gremlins. The gremlins supposedly would cause one sort of damage or another. Then there was a period of time starting in the sixties that all the talk about gremlins was nothing but crap. People were constantly saying, "there is no such thing as ghosts." We were better educated, and the superstitious people were considered very backward. For that matter many people were also saying "God is dead."

In retrospect I wouldn't discount the possibility of some kind of being capable of causing damage or concealing it. When I was much younger I attended a technical college to be trained to work on aircraft. I heard some stories. I thought the idea of gremlins was rediculous(spelling?). How did I manage to wind up in Information Systems?

There was a particular kind of fighter jet that kept crashing. Seems there was one pilot that had to fly the "problem" aircraft into combat. When the pilot would roll the jet over doing a common manuver, the alerons(spelling?) lost a significant portion of their range of operation. Several pilots died, before this guy managed to survive and make it home safe again.

An investigation was performed. They traced the assembly process for the jet back to one particular assembly station. There was a production line worker who decided he had an easier way to install one particular nut and bolt. The bolt was installed upside down. The fault never showed during test flights of the aircraft..., but then the standard test didn't include the "roll over" that the fighter pilots were doing in combat.

Lesson learned, there was no gremlin. There was a production line assembler that ignored instructions because he had a better way of doing the assembly. That bolt was hanging up one of the ailerons, keeping the jet in a roll, all the way to the ground. The pilot that survived was fortunately at a very high altitude..., he had enough time and distance that he finally got over the problem. Of course, his feedback started the investigation, and they found the cause.

Then there is the true story of a very real ghost, still in uniform, haunting air hangers. We are not the only inhabitants on this planet.
