There are already people offering classes so you can become get a ghost hunting certificate. The problem is those offering the courses haven't a clue as to what is paranormal so being certified is actually a laugh. Now there is no proof ghosts exist so how can you license someone to hunt them? People are constantly experimenting with equipment so once again you can't say you have to use the same equipment.

Look at the evidence (or lack of) out there right now. Once again we have poor photography, poor use of a digital recorder, and lack of common sense when it comes to equipment. You can't tell someone they need a flir camera that costs $5000.00 when they aren't even understood and all kinds of false evidence is captured.

So until there is proof ghosts exist, then there can't be licensed or certified ghost hunters.

When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence.

You dont HAVE to have the certification or licensing...it might look better for you to the client if you do but I know many groups that are not licensed...and there is no certificate for investigating, like you said you can be certified in evp work or other side jobs of investigating...I am actually looking into it now... whatever you do dont fall into the hoaxs online...that make you pay boo coo amt of money to get these...most sites online are bogus... I have a friend emailing me the site that is legit where he got his from and if you like i can PM it to you when I get it?
