Gnostic Christianity’s hidden in plain sight secret. We must do evil.

Dictionary terms and metaphysical conceptualizations are two distinct things. There are many deserving words in the dictionary, and also many undeserving words in the dictionary. Dictionaries are a collection of popular culture, throughout the ages. The definitions within are the accepted descriptions of words, on a societal basis, not an objective one. For the purposes of morality, good and evil's definitions are useless. We must explain our concepts using logic, not popular culture.

Good and evil do not exist, except in the morality that the individual creates or accepts for themselves.

That you agree you are being subjective is a good first step. The next step is to realize that including subjective misinterpretations (or correct interpretations) in objective reasoning is a mistake. Subjectivity has no place in objective determination. That being said, you can totally use objective logic and then choose to follow your own subjective desires. That could be a gamble, mind you, but you can do that.

If you think I am here to debate people on dictionary terms and redefining words, you are gravely mistaken. Again, there is the popular culture acceptance of a word, and there is the concept that the word belongs to. We are here to discuss its intrinsic properties, not redefine anything. It's best you throw your dictionary out, if you use it as your foundation for metaphysical and moral opinions. It'll only convolute an already conflicted collection of principles that Gnosticism has adopted.

"Good and evil do not exist, except in the morality"

IOW, good and evil exist.

You are playing semantics and I do not have to for that.

Nobody is playing semantics, I am playing: "Good and evil do not exist."

I have objectively explained their not existing. If you would like to debate the claim, by all means do so. Here's an awesome hint: Saying something is in the dictionary doesn't mean it exists. God is in the dictionary. Does God exist?

OMG GUYS!! I'VE FIGURED OUT THE SECRET TO PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF THE PARANORMAL!

Gnostic over here pointed out....they only put things that exist in the dictionary!!!! Ghosts and demons and God are all terms found in the dictionary! Irrefutable proof, UnR!!! The paranormal DOES exist!

Comeaaaaannnnnn.......

Rolleyes
Merriam-Webster Dictionary

"Bigot - : a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices;especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance"

It's in the dictionary so it must be true...

Good and evil is subjective to one's perception between right and wrong. For example, Robin Hood downright robbed people but his act of charity far outweighed his bad unlawful ways and is perceived in general as a good person.

U C 20/20 here.

The less astute here will not agree that good and evil exists, but they will say good and bad do without recognizing that they are synonymous terms.

Vulty literally just said that "Good and evil is subjective to one's perception between right and wrong." That is literally what we've all been telling you. The logical follow-up to a claim like this is: Since morality is objective, and good and evil is a subjective evaluation, Good and evil do not exist.

And you know what? It doesn't. If something is a subjective creation, it can only exist within the limited scope of the individual. It becomes an artificial creation of what isn't fully understood about morality. The fault isn't with the moral system, if an agent doesn't fully understand it. The fault is with the agent, for not putting in the work to develop their logic enough to understand it themselves.

No one is agreeing with you, Gnostic.
