RE: Drinking Blood.
I will not tell you how I know this, but...

Blood has a salty taste. Though it contains alot of iron, it doesn't carry with it the taste of metal. Everyone has pricked a finger and tasted it. Even in large quantities the taste remains the same. It's actually not as repulsive as one would think. The texture is thicker than water (I know that's so cliche but true) and yet not as thick as syrup. The texture is much like drinking really watery ketchup.

The downside is that we don't stomach blood well. When digested it can make one physically ill. It's more because of our own psychological factors however than the actual chemical composition. When digested it can make one physically ill. Human blood is roughly a 7.4 ph, where water is 7.0 ph (completely neutral, neither alkaline or acidic) so in reality it should be tolerable.

In the current and very real vampire communities which currently exist, there is indeed now a movement of individuals called the Kheperu, who transfer and feed on human energy. Blood is rarely considered one's life force any longer. In everything around us there is energy, and we are predisposed by the universe to absorb, repel, and interreact with it. In this practice, they consider themslves 'spiritual immortals'. It might be worth your time to take a look at some of thier practices and beliefs, just to see the way that modern day vampirism has evolved in todays society.

Do u know anyone who has drank blood and I'm not talking about sucking on your finger because u cut it open or gave yourself a paper cut. I'm talking about drinking it out of a cup like it were a cup of juice.

I know weirdo.... but I'm curious, like I said before I'm doing some homework on Vamps.... not that people who drink blood r classified as vamps...u know what I mean.

RE: Drinking Blood.
Haunted Lady...that is really creepy and scary.

I would like to ask a question here as you do seem to know quite a bit about this. Why do people...ie psychic/astral vampires or whatever they are really called want to take other's energy? I'm not going to get into this religiously or anything...but that just seems universally wrong no matter what you believe. Why would anyone want to suck the life force out of another person? Do these vampires not have a consious about what they are doing or how sick it can leave someone?

Ok geo...I too have a wondering mind about some things. Not because I want to write a book about it but because I want to understand what others say is not comprehensible. I watch every true serial killer movie I can. I really just want to understand these people. It goes to the core of evil. I want to know if they are born lacking compassion or if something has happened that has made them so evil. Lets just say that part of my being a warrior is about understanding what I am at odds with.

RE: Drinking Blood.
I had a nosebleed once that bled down the the back of my throat which forced me to swallow some of it. It is as Haunted Lady said plus it made my throat raw and sore.

I am thinking people such as that, do not care as long as they are nourishing their own needs. I don't know anything at all about real vampires in our society today and don't want to know.

I too watched documentaries on serial killers trying to figure what makes them tick. I suspect psychopaths have no conscious at all. As long as their weird pleasures are satisfied, nothing else matters to them.

RE: Drinking Blood.
Warrior,

Thank you for your input. All I really care to add, is if for any reason anyone wishes to understand or investigate the issue further there are countless resources available to do. Look up House Kheperu, it offers the communities views and beliefs.

Do I share in these beliefs? Some yes and some no. That could be said also for any and every religion or organized social venue. I offer my two cents, as a result of some of my own research. Nothing more, nothing less.

Be well.
