Ok....so today is one of my bad days (second day of new med cutdown is usually a bad day). Anyway I woke up sick and depressed....and this song started coming in my mind. I went to youtube and found it....and listened to it over an over. The video was pretty interesting to. So anyway I got out for awhile today (oh if someone saw the TPBM game thread...I didn't put my pjs on until I got back home). When I got in the car I was about the pray to feel better and I started the car and that same song came on the radio. I smiled and thanked God. After I got done running all by errands...I had to get back out again...and guess what...as soon as I got in the car...the song came on again. Now I listen to Air 1 alot and I can tell you they don't normally play the same song in a two hour period.

So here is the video and song that inspired my day....maybe it will inspire one of you all as well.

It's wierd sometimes how just the right song can come on and just the right time. And having it come on more than once really makes you think.

Can anyone figure this video out...the ending is what I'm referring to ? Thanks Scary. I love Air1. I referred a client to this earlier and apparently it helped her (her husband just confirmed 2 weeks ago...god bless ya know)......

Scary I am so much more spiritual now than I was even a year ago. God saved my life in many ways...truly. Even today....when the medication makes suicidal thoughts enter my mind unwanted....I know God will bring me through this horror. I feel sorry for those on these meds that are weak, don't know the truth about the meds and most importantly don't have God to rely on. Terrifying is all that comes to mind. I cannot tell you how many times a day that I think how much better I would feel if I just ceased to be. Why can't any government or prominent people see how horrific these drugs are? Prescriped medications of legal drug lords. Period.

I've always been a little puzzled by the actual meaning of that video. My interpretation is that even though he saw the way things were going to turn out, he had to take the road anyway.

I don't know, I could be wrong about that. But that's what I interpret it as.

Absolutely beautiful song, I loved it! I'm on dial up so it took about 15 minutes to get it to download so I could even listen, but it was well worth it.

Here is what Jason Wade said about writing the song.....................

"After visiting a friend in Nashville, I wrote "Broken". That friend needed a new kidney, and was going through a rough time. I feel like hanging out with him. I absorbed what he was going through, and wrote "Broken" at four in the morning whilst in my hotel room. In the music, a certain amount of pain and desperation is prevalent. At the same time though, the track's lyrics contain a sense of hope. That contrast is quite powerful, I feel."

And, here is what he said about the video...............................

"In short, "Broken"'s music video paints the picture of a dark daydream. Us walking through a tunnel inaugurates the video, and that resembles an out of body experience almost. When I get out of the tunnel, I see a horrible car accident. As I walk up to the car, I realize it's me in the wreck. Upon realizing this, I run back through the tunnel, and attempt to get back into the car. I snap out of this bad day dream, and drive on, thus ending the video."

Interesting, don't know if any of you know it, but Keifer Sutherland was a director on it.
