Ghost Stories

I must say that from the time I was very small I have always been interested in Light houses it did not matter if they were said to be haunted or not I wrote a story in school about a light house and every year in my school years I would write this story again and add more and more to it till I got it too 20 some pages and won awards for it several times as well. I do not have it any more nor could not even remember it if I wanted too.
But I think that any thing that is about some place being haunted it is interesting but what I like to know is the history behind the place that makes it more interesting to me and tells me why this place is haunted.
