I will have to read the Marine account at some point it sounds interesting. I have read the starbucks account and the office building elevator one too. What I found interesting about the elevator one is the thing seemed more upset that It didn't know what it was like to have a home and didn't get upset until guy asked the BEK/person where it was going. I have also read on that occurred outside an YMCA, during this one the BEK actually graped the person though there car window.

I stand corrected... In an earlier post I said I thought the BEKs to be primarily an "American" phenomenon... but I've run across a bunch of links in the threads in this forum, leading to accounts from accounts of BEK encounters other than and including Americans.

What I am wondering is if these BEKs have been "seen" for a long time without being reported. Unlike with UFO, ghost and other paranormal sightings, people are seemingly VERY reluctant to report BEKs... I get very little sense that people who have had an encounter ever seek publicity concerning what they've seen, heard, experienced.
