RE: My First Sleep Paralysis
Yes, i always knew i was awake. When i was little, i didn't know what it was, but i did some investigating and i agreed with the scientific explanation. There is no point in their explanation where they say "we don't know how this happens." I've alway followed Occams Razor, i still keep an open mind and am completely willing to believe the supernatural although i do traditionally lean to one side over the other and this is one of those times.

"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination."- Albert Einstein

Well, my gut tells me this isn't going to be the last time i experience this, I think something is going to happen. I don't want to feel negative, but my gut tells me something is going off. If i'm honest, i really don't think the scientific interpretation is true in my case as i know i was awake. It was the dog being there that made me sure of this, i was aware of his movements the whole time i experienced sp.

are you still sleeping with the bible under your pillow?

you don't have to be a good writer to tell us, would love to know about yours. By the way, there isn't anything wrong with your writing, at least you put a capital 'I' i'm too lazy to do that.

I agree with Eyepriestess, rebecca! I would love to hear your stories. You've had so many good things to say about other stories on here.

RE: My First Sleep Paralysis
EP, I hope you check this thread when you log on. I was wanting to ask you something about your experience.

How did you feel for the rest of the day after this happened? Forgive me if you answered it, I'm not seeing where you did. But I was wondering, as it seems most cases I've heard of where it was the classic natural phenomenon, there was very little aftereffects. But the cases I'm not sure are the ones where there was a sense of heaviness or a fog that won't go away. Again, just speculation on my part. But I was wondering, how was the rest of that day for you? Other than obviously being shaken up.
