RE: Your opinion on psychics
This is a bit off-topic... but I have to say... every time I see the topic name for this thread I read it as "Your Opinion on PHYSICS" and I get excited... "OOOoOoh. Maybe there's a block on incline or pulley problem!"
... and then I'm disappointed when I re-read it proper. |

RE: Your opinion on psychics
I think alot of people do it for attention and money but there are alot of real ones. I don't think being psychic is outrageous because we only use a small percent of our brain and we're some of the most advanced living things, but imagine if we learned to use a tiny bit more. Also, most people are in touch with their psychic abilities when they are little but loose touch when they get older. There are exercises for those who are psychic so they don't loos touch with it.

As opposed to popular belief, we use all of our brain. People take the saying that we use only 10% of our brain out of context, we actually use 10% of our brain AT A TIME. Any given second, we're thinking of different subjects so only those parts of the brain light up then go out when your brain goes to something else. |

rebecca
I hear it all the time but i recently read it in an article about common misconceptions. It is true if that's what you were wondering, we actually do use all of our brain. |

RE: Your opinion on psychics
No, i'm sorry guys use all of their brain, though i admit, it doesn't always seem that way. The male and female brains just work differently, women usually think more inwardly (analytical) while men tend to think more outwardly (more action oriented). Neither side is better than the other but infact compliment eachother. |

RE: Your opinion on psychics
I did too, geo girl. Darn it anyway!
I did like what Bracket said about the way the two minds compliment each other. I believe both ways of thinking have a lot to offer "When you feel like a toad on the highway of life... and everyone seems like a steel-belted radial... when you're lyin' there squished in an assortment of bodily fluids... at least you left your mark." ~Arnie Dogan, "The Red Green Show" |
