Inviting The Demon - A Ouija Board Story

RE: Inviting The Demon - A Ouija Board Story
Good point. I am a newbie when it comes to computers, and I'm a little overwhelmed by how much I don't know. Thanks for sharing that link. Humor must be found everywhere.

Anyway, this story that CareTaker shared with us is a very graphic detailed account of one person's experience with a Ouija board. My own experience was so much tamer, but I still know that it happened. Whatever it is, whether it's believing that it works or whether it actually works, it is something best left alone, in my opinion.

Freelance nightmare is working as freelancer, especially as freelance graphic or web designer (or generally designer). Some clients think your their personal slave, other wish you to build a website worth $3000, but they want to pay you only $30, some people want to hire you just because you're cheaper than buying Photoshop, and I could write like this for hours Smile. Freelancing has its ups and downs, I suggest this comic: http://www.freelanceswitch.com/freelance-freedom/ - the best way of dealing with our daily nightmare is turning it into joke, lol

What? Why am I still a freelancer then? Hey, where else will I earn so much money for studies by working 2 hours per day? muhaha

Nathan, this is true no matter what field you are in. Everybody expects you to work for free. They don't see that paying Walmart $4.00 a gallon for milk or paying say BP $3 a gallon for gas is any different than paying us x$ for services. Does Walmart or BP give them an invoice to pay within 30 days. NO. I do taxes for a living and my ex-bosses saying was "we are not taxpayer free service". You learn that you just have to stand up for yourself and demand what your time is worth. You seem to be a worthy man... so my advice is to say No...you have to pay. I was raised in business and this is still a hard concept for me so please don't take this the wrong way.

As for the Ouija Board experience that CareTaker posted....well this is very creepy. There are certain streams of this that I recognize as the truth of what I have experienced but the rest is just plain creepy to say the least. I am surprised the girl is still sane enough to talk about it. I don't mean that in a bad way, but given my own experiences I can feel for those that cannot escape that darker side. My prayers to this girl and her friends and all of their families. God Bless Them all.
Nathan,

I suggest you get future clients to sign a contract before you complete their work so you have a leg to stand on should this ever become a legal issue.

Lol, as much as I love my homeland, I'm aware that going to court here is pure stupidity. Such case would run for 5 years and in the end, the court would decide "client is guilty, but who cares?" - if no politic, priest or history involved, there's no real point of fighting in courts in Poland, you might win the case, but waiting 5 years for this and paying for tickets and beurocracy from your own pocket knowing you won't get the refund? Nah... Sad

This was an excellent example of the torment and problems that can be released by the use of a Ouija board. CareTaker, I'm so glad that you posted the story. There are still so many people out there that think this demonic tool is simply a game for entertainment.

It's really sad that so many people had to suffer from this experience and that so many actually died. I'm really glad that Shelly finally broke free of this demon and was able to rebuild her life again.

And that she was able to share the story with us. I don't know what it was about this story, but I believed it. There was such an honesty in the way it was told.

RE: Inviting The Demon - A Ouija Board Story
I bought a ouija board a few weeks ago at the mall with a few of my friends but still havnt used it. Are they dangerous? and how do I get something paranormal to come? I really want to see something.

As fun and interesting as ouija boards are, I wouldn't advise playing with one. As cool as it might be to see something, it's easier to let something out than it is to put it back in. Be careful.

People are threatened by things they don't understand. Their first instinct is to judge instead of accept.

...Why would you want to? For real did you NOT read anything in this forum? Or that story? I'm not trying to sound rude, so sorry if I come off that way, but that just boggles my mind... I would NOT under any circumstances use one... I'd just get rid of it right now, for you my friend have wasted your money...

BUT if feel the need to absolutely use it, then you must accept the outcome, whatever that may be... Good luck with that...

^lol. I did read this thread as well as many other stories but I'm not sure if anything bad would happen while using one. I started to use mine the other night but I didn't get a responce on the board so I just put it away. Maybe I need to try it with more patience.
