The fun house effect

Sponsor Messages
Hi all

I'm new here I will share my paranormal expereince (if you can call it that? ) Once I was with a friend at his house and I was standing with my back against a quite sturdy wall all of a sudden I feel that I was moving backwards as if the wall was giving in I don't know if you can call it parranormal (no I wasn't drunk at all). My friend said there was a ghost in there house normaly near their piano this experieinc wasn;t near the piano though. I would like to know if what I experianced was peranormal or not. thanx

RE: The fun house effect
It could be the spirit messing with you or it could be your inner ear. There is fluid in your inner ear and sometimes a slight change in pressure, causing the fluid to move will cause a feeling of being unbalanced.. falling, sliding or dizziness.

RE: The fun house effect
I would put it down to being some sort of ear problem. As Shastar has stated, the fluid in your ears can make you feel unbalanced.

What would you do if you knew nothing about me, yet I said that I'd protect you with my life, then died doing just that and later you discovered I was someone you would've hated had our paths crossed under different circumstances?

It's all just one big *facepalm* around here.

RE: The fun house effect
Having experience severe vertigo, even going to the hospital in an ambulance, I know how frighting it is. With my eyes opened, I saw the room spin. I felt myself falling. I was sitting down at my computer and I grabbed hold of the desk to keep in my seat. I became violently sick and threw up. I screamed for help, my family was sleeping for it was 5:30 AM. I was like this for 3 days before it began to improve. I was in the hospital for that time. It took another month for me to regain my balance enough to walk without aid.

The only time a room has moved for me was when I was under the influence of morphine in the ER. Big Grin

I can't imagine how that must've felt, Pitch. I get off balance sometimes because of my horrible allergies and sinus problems, but usually my sense of vertigo or dizziness lasts only a few minutes. Do you know what caused it?

I have no idea what caused it I was just standing there looking at a door knob (they were trying to figure out on the other side how to open it cause the door knob broke lol ) and then it happend. It soon stopped after I stepped away from the wall.

A calcium deposit in the inner ear, broke loose and was floating free in fluid of the inner ear and kept bouncing off the nerves throwing my equilibrium out of rack. After I learned what cause it, I was OK but at the time all sorts of things ran through my mind, from a stroke to a brain tumor.
