THE HAT MAN

When we met with the demonologist we described this man that both my husband and I have seen at different points in our life. I had seen him a few times and my husband has seen him his whole life.

The man is a solid black figure wearing a trench coat and a hat. You cannot see his face at all.

The demonologist said this was known as "The Hat Man"....we were shocked that somebody actually knew what we were talking about. He said this was a world wide phenomenon. He said he has been researching this and that there are many people who believe these beings are actually the fallen angels. He said they are trying to get you to contract with them to allow a demon to possess you. When you reject it...they come at you in different ways. He said its actually quite sad because if you contract them you get these supernatural powers...but then most die within about 10 years because the demon actually destroys them. He said the people become delusional and doctors think they are schizo but brain scans show they are sane. He said they usually die in a freak accident because of the delusions or end up killing something else because they actually see everything different and sometimes they just disappear. he said this is where spiritual vampires come from. He said the person could turn to God to get out of this contract but the fight is really hard because its already in your body.

Pretty creepy.

Whoa, that is so interesting. That is how I would think the fallen angels would present themselves. Lucifer and the fallen ones are no longer allowed access to God's throne, not since the flood, they have free reign here on Earth and boy are they hard at it. You must put on the Spiritual armor of God, be ever visual to their enticements.

Yes, there are posts all over the internet about the hat man. The hat man has been seen all around the world. Not real sure that I believe that he's trying to get people to make a contract with him though. I have actually seen him and known a couple of people that have dealt with him. And, I've have had people tell me about many others that I don't know that have seen him and he's never tried to get any of them to make a deal with him for anything.

Of course, that don't mean that he hasn't tried to contract others. But, in most of the stories that you read about him, he's mostly just observed people. But, he can and does become violent at times and has physically attacked some people.

I had an encounter with a very large shadow like creature when I was a kid. This thing wore a hat and robe, at least thats what I took it or perceived it as. But this hat was tall and pointy. I had not heard of the "Hat Man" before seeing this thread. I wonder if there is any connection? I will have to write about that experience soon.

I kept thinking it was the man in black....I didn't get the official name until this past Friday. I'm going to research it some more now.

I started surfing the net for more info. This page was interesting. Also I forgot to mention that the demonologist said time appears to slow down whenever you see the hat man. This particular site actually describes different types of shadow people. My son had just described in detail what he had seen about a year ago. We were asking becuase we trying to collect all information to give the demonologist. He and his team are trying to figure out exactly what we are dealing with so they plan the attack. Anyways, the last creature mentioned on that site...the red eyed shadow man is actually the most evil...and thats the one of son saw. He didn't see it out of the corner of eyes but rather right in front of him walking down the hallway as this thing looked back and straight at my son. This webpage verified what he told me. Too creepy.

The hat man appears in several forms, I've read where some have said he had what appeared to be a top hat, some say the hat was rounded and some have said it was pointy. Some people have also reported seeing him with red fiery eyes, which is how I've seen him a couple of times. While others say that his eyes are just black like him. Some also say he has a trench coat and some describe it as a cape.

My hat guy has been jet black...no face just solid black. Rounded hat and trench coat. My son saw the red eyed one. That site I posted says there are 6 types of shadow men....descriptions which match many of the posts in various threads in this forum. Thanks for telling me to surf the web. Sometimes I had to be told the obvious....it is the ditzy part of my personality.

Also....while that site did mention the existence of animal shadows...but it said they were mostly small...doesn't describe the large black panther I kept seeing that stand on two legs with the other two on furniture such the back of a chair. I saw this numerous times before the fire....and not once since.

Strange this is that my dog that was hit and killed by a car two days after the fire was a large jet black poodle....no it wasn't him...because he mostly stayed outside. The also ties to the "can we cheat death" thread. I believe my dog died...because death wanted something (but I could be wrong)

nananananananananana HAT MAN! but seriously, that sounds freaky. reminds me of a story i read in which the grim reaper was described to look just like that. I'll have to look into it though, i've never heard of it. sounds interesting.

Well, the grim reaper is generally picture in a dark hooded robe so maybe. This reminds of when my mother was dying and she was seeing and talking to people that only she could see. One in particular she shouted at to leave the room and when questioned she described a black figure but did not mention a hat. I kinda wondered if it was the angel of death but never said it aloud to any one until now.
